Indeed.

I have said from the very beginning that neither Trump nor Hillary should ever have been considered for the Presidency,

Yes, I should probably note that this has been my thoughts the entire time on the election also.

People like me? What leads you to that assumption? Do you know me? Have we talked before?

Where was the violence at the Hillary rallies?
Sanders rallies?

Who instigated the Trump rallies?

Lets talk about reality here. 6 cities on the US have protests going on or that went on this past evening all protesting against something that they can not possibly change. Reality.

When you admit that I win and you concede the debate, I'm going to show everyone a great example and not gloat about how I won. I'm going to do something nice for you and speak highly of you as giving a great game and thank you.

I think having a real time example of good sportsmanship is necessary for this thread. Hopefully that'll be ok.

You are aware one of them was going to get picked right? Bashing trump supporters in antediluvian threads isnt going to make people believe your not biased to one political party and creating threads to attack trump supporters like you have will also make you seem bias like you have.

Hillary no but someone like Trump was a necessity. Our government has become so corrupt and self serving that a politician owned by special interests was never going to solve anything. we needed to radically change our current path. For that we needed a radical candidate. .... and i will say this....trump is definitely outside the box. I have this gut feeling that the guy truly hates politicians to the bone. after years and years of dealing with this scum he developed a deep loathing for politicians. No telling how many he has had to pay off while they extorted him.... on both sides of the isle.

anyone who thinks he is a republican is kidding themselves. he is A-political. He is a populist minded proud american who think The USA should be top dog in the world and everyone should follow our lead in terms of economic capability and national pride.

His goal is to Make america great again not make the GOP great again. Thats why it was essential that he was not owned by special interest. He has full control over his own decisions and has pledged even today after winning to sticking to his promises he made to the american people.

Trump is going to be good for us all. biggest threat right now is the federal reserve but we can overcome whatever they throw at us. working back through a depression is nothing compared to forever losing our rights. we almost lost our emergency parachute tuesday night.

As a Trump supporter, I will take your advice and ignore the protesters inciting hatred in the streets.

Many of those protesters are carrying signs that say "Love Trumps Hate", and just as many are carrying signs that say "F**CK TRUMP!"

So which is it?

That is your prerogative to do so. Ignoring hatred and vitriol, and not being baited by it, goes both ways.

Its an example of different points of view, something every human being is entitled to.

Thankyou for your contribution.

Jesus christ get a grip, you're still gonna wake up in your house, safe, with food, possibly a job, family. It's not like it drastically changed your life when a new president came in. Still same old hunting for a better career, scraping by, keeping head up. Stop being such a mard arse about it and live your life!!!

The topic is about the hatred, gloating and vitriol that has infested ATS since the election, and the fact that it needs to be ignored or it will not stop.

Thankyou, however, for your opinion - although perhaps another thread may be the more appropriate place to post it?

There having protests because Trump did not win the popular vote, and I understand it's your electoral system and Donald will be the 4th president to take the seat of power while gathering lower votes than his opponent

He called for a revolution at the rigged electoral system last election and mentioned a few times during his run it was rigged

If Hillary won while losing the popular vote this board would be flooded by Trump supporters saying it's time to start a revolution

There should not be any gloating about the victory - after all Trump now has to prove himself.
However, there seems to be more of the exaggerated, overblown rhetoric against Trump (and his supporters) that we saw leading up to his election. That is very divisive and is the type of rhetoric that is inciting the protests. It's going to be refuted. Expect to be challenged if lies are perpetuated.

Got it, so they're whining for not getting their way. In the streets. Breaking stuff. Having men and women work overtime. Putting their lives in danger so they can act like brats. On their tax dollar. In a blue state.

Good times.

Its cool

And thanks for listening
I honestly hope someday you will at lest understand why people voted for him and help the dems get back on track.I would feel much better voting non extreme candidates into the white house but we need honest people who are more intouch with the american public. Im not saying thats trump hopefully he passes some laws to help us in our fight, i honestly cant say clinton would have done that. there is rot in our government on both dems and reps.
Mark cuban on a dem ticket i might vote for and he was agaisnt trump. Even trump said people like him need to be in control of making deals not politicians. He seems like a good guy and everyone seems to like him. Our priorities should be on reducing debt and creating a future for our youth through making jobs and creating better trade deals not endless wars and protecting corprate interests.
