See, this is where you try to rephrase the discussion in your own terms.

Several posters here have pointed out the facts, that there was no assassination attempt, that the guy is a registered Republican who supports Clinton because he finds Trump unacceptable, and the would be "assassin" was released IMMEDIATELY upon removal from the venue.

There was never any suspicion of "assassination." This Crites was attacked by Trump supporters, roughed up, kicked, and choked, the exact kind of violence that so many Trump acolytes try to blame on others.

You've made several sideways remarks here. Should we concentrate on those rather than the actual topic?

If not, why are you trying to do so? Did you have anything else to add about the non-issue that is this thread?

initial reports were of an assassination attempt and the actions of the Secret Service confirm they were worried.
Your factual statements earlier on are well framed.
However, creating an anti-Trump narrative out of those facts is partisan.
It is what it is.
The speculation on why it happened, that Hillary's campaigns sent the man there, is grounded in precedent and the agitators name turning up on a hacked list of an organisation well known for this type of political activism.
My conclusion is that Hillary's campaign organised it.

I thought the majority of ATS would see both choices are terrible. It has amazed me how many people have fallen for trump the plant.
Mind you If he does get in we will have many months of mirth laughing at the USA I still suspect a civil war either way.
I just hope many USAers don't move to Canada driving land prices up.
That's my plan.

So, as I read in another thread, this had nada to do with any actual threats to Trump, but was indeed a tiff between attendees. Because freedom of speech Republicans hold so dear evaporates at rallies when applicable, therefore assassination attempt excuse.

I'm even more amused now than I was last night. A Republican got jumped for holding a sign others disapproved of. At a Republican rally. OH. THE. LULZ.
