Wis, what a cool avatar! Looks like a sad woman, but with the shadows of the woman and the bird, it shows an Angel. It's the type of image that I believe can be interpreted in different ways by different people. I get the feeling that the woman, though she is in sorrow, isn't alone.

I was very worried. That's another couple things off my mind.

I've been sitting here just about all night singing, albeit terribly, to a bunch songs. I'm surprised that the neighbors haven't called the police or haven't came over to tell me to shut up. LOL

These are just a "few" of the songs I've been trying to sing.

I do the same thing most days. Surprised I've had no noise complaints in the three years I've been here, or people banging on the wall in the next apartment over screaming at me to stop my caterwauling!

But eeeeeeee! REO Speedwagon! I admit it, I'm guilty of caterwauling along with them too.


Was on a Bon Jovi kick the other day... I'm certain my neighbours looooved me singing along to Blaze of Glory at the top of my lungs.

Ohhh, a few years ago!
I was singing with my kitty cat sleeping on my lap. After a few songs he sat upright, stared at my face for a few minutes, and then started thwacking me with his paw. No claws, he wasn't that horrified! But still. LOL!

(Did you know Fiction Factory are Scottish? They played in my home town once (in the '80's) in an outdoor stadium about 3 miles from the pub I was at... we were all outside the pub singing along to "Feels Like Heaven" which was magically floating in on the breeze!!!)

Whew! That was close. Forecast were predicting 10 cm (~5 inches) of snow for my location. We've actually received 1 cm (1/2 inch) of it.

It's still snowing a bit over here, now that the worst is gone I'm gonna give weather back to Nature, and I'm going to sit back and relax.


I know most of you probably heard, but then some of you might not, so I'm going to make the announcement anyway. We've reached the goal of raising $1,500 for Skid Mark (don't worry mods, I'm not posting any links ), with 50 bucks to spare actually.

This is thanks to you guys, his friends. And it's also thanks to alot of ATSers who contributed anonymously. And not just members.

You guys actually made it. Together you guys helped a friend to have a home for Christmas.

Jacy..... I've got donuts

OK I just have to show off a little ...a close friend made me this. It's one of Paul's Christmas gifts. It hangs on the wall and you remove one of the "stars" so it slides open. I am soooo excited to give it to him!

A big thank you to whoever helped Skid in whatever capacity they could, even if it was giving words of encouragement and love! I am much relieved to know that things are turning around for you Skiddy!

Gordi, that's a funny t-shirt your friend has! I did end up going to bed, but didn't get to sleep right away. I'm surprised I'm up now and not still sleeping.

We are digging out from at least 7" of snow this morning, although it might be more. I'm waiting until after I have cozy coffee to find out. It's so awesome! Thanks for letting it hit MN!
