Thanks to you guys I confronted the main issue with confidence.

Our pleasure. From personal experience I know The Shed excels in listening and problem support.

Attempting to fragment the large cloud system over central US now.

I beg you please don't do that. The cloud cover inhibits the radiation of warmth from the earth. And we need to keep it down here. Clouds are g o o d, they keep us warm. They bring snow, but subzero temps with out snow cover freezes pipes and sewers. We need the snow.

Pardon me complicating your quest.

That's way too much. I hope you can find something cheaper.

Also, don't worry. Take care of yourself first.

Hey, what's going on with your heat? Is there any way you can get a few of those terra cotta flower pots and tea lights? I'm not sure if this actually works but people are saying it does. It involves lit candles so be careful.

Interesting vid Skiddy! With my luck, the cat would decide to jump onto the table, have it all come crashing down and burn the house down. LOL

Brrrrrr, just turned the heat up. It's freezing and you can hear the wind out there!

I really don't understand how some people love winter. I was born in January and I can't stand it.

I love Winter!!

But, I live in a region where we have 10 months of Summer and 2 months of Spring. I relish my few chilly sub-zero (Celsius) mornings like there's no tomorrow, and can only dream of snow.

(I had a few -5 degree C mornings this past Winter, was beautiful. I had the doors and windows open and let the cold air blow through... and then by midday it was back into the 20s and might as well head out for a day in the sun.)

These wee fellows are hauling in The Tree, a little late as I am.

But I am determined to keep the spirit.
All though I haven't raised my own tree, put up a single tinsel or sent a card, I won't let "busy" get in my way of wishing you all a Blessed Yuletide.
We focus on one day. But back when. They celebrated for days and weeks.
Could I be granted permission to celebrate Christmas in to the new year?

When I say busy I all so say I am tired. Something I never experienced before.

Not in my region, no. It does elsewhere in Australia, but I'm up in Queensland where it's usually always hot.

I've seen snow only once, and that was when my dad and I were driving through the mountains when I was around 8 years old. We were on our way to a little town called Cooma, one of the many little towns where we were supposed to "start a new life!" but only lasted two weeks or so before running off to another little town, and there were patches of snow on the ground as we were driving and I was SO excited! I made him stop the car and we spent a few minutes outside playing with this strange icy stuff before continuing on our way.

I fully intend on properly experiencing a proper snowy Winter one day though.

I had no idea. I was under the impression that it never snowed there. Cool.

Hello Night Shift!!!!!!

Wis, I love your avatar!!!! You can celebrate Christmas for as long as you'd like. It's the shed after all, anything is possible here.

Kaelci, next time I get snow, I'm sending it your way.

Skiddy, I know, I don't like Winters either. They are too long, too cold, too grey and too dreary.

Hiya Jiminy!!

RAWR!!!!

Hey, hey, hey, it'ssssssssssssss Fat Al......... oh wait. He's not here. Figured I'd pop in or over and say hi before hitting the haystack. Trying to run some ideas through my head about what to do tomorrow. Got to run a few errands in the morning but I have no idea what I'm doing in the afternoon. Is it a good idea for me to be laying in bed trying to come up with stuff?

On another note, I finally made this public after waiting a week.

Still have one or two more to work on from last week but I figure I'll give a while and wait.

Sure, agreed, but most of the US is currently already under a cloud cover, except the North East - you should be safe?...

But then, you just said "subzero"...

Wait, you're somewhere in Canada, right?
