There was no time for tender moments or deep love between Night Star and Taylon. They both sprang from the bed, got dressed and raced
outside. They learned of the Wizards and the solidification of the evil mist. They were vile creatures, demons of some hateful world unknown to them.
Their steeds appeared quickly when called. One, a gleaming black and the other pure white, long manes flowing in the wind. Taylon called out to the
Elf. "This is not the end of Accassia or us! I will join you in victory my love!" He joined the feline beings and Night joined the Elves, some with
bows and arrows and others like herself proficient with and preferring a sword.
Some races stayed within the walls of the shed as others fled beyond them to battle the approaching invaders. Though the solidified demons were
stunned, it was temporary. They wasted no time in learning how to move with their new forms. A cacophony of clanging swords and screams of agony
filled the air. Night watched as a comrade's horse was slain and the rider came tumbling down with a loud thud to the frozen earth beneath him.
One of the dark creatures lunged at her bearing sharp teeth and nails like claws. The evil presence was so strong, so terrifying even to the battle
skilled elf. That would not deter her. She raised her sword high and twisted around in her seat to slice through the hideous form. It screeched loudly
like an animal as it fell, mouth twisted as he lay stunned and in great pain before turning to ash. They were great in numbers, but so were the light
bearers, the beings of magic, power and might. In no time. crimson blood stained the pure white snow of the fallen. There were always casualties and
it was always gut wrenching, yet still they had to push forward.
Jojopo travelled alongside other goblins with axes and other useful weapons. He was not as large as some of the more formidable beings, but held his
own for the time being. Though he was barely making it, he was indeed making it through the lines of attack.
Wolf found Shadow, the majestic Wolf Lord and joined the ranks under him. They leapt high, bit and clawed viciously at those closest to them as Shadow
used his magic against the creatures of darkness.
Storm and Sky were under the leadership of Syx and awaited his plan of attack. They knew other dragons were already out there, but always stayed close
by Syx's side.
Pesky tried to stay close to Night with other pixies wielding long swords. Though they and their weapons were small, they were useful, usually aiming
at the eyes and blinding the opponent. Because of their size, they were never considered as a threat which was always a mistake on the side of the
enemies who underestimated the little pixies.
Hugo the winged wildcat gathered with his own kind and similar magical creatures. they took gracefully to the air and used their magic. Combined with
the magic of others, they were making progress. Not all the beings and creatures were so fortunate as they faltered and failed against overwhelming
odds. It was not an easy battle, none were.
Night and the other Elves whispered the magical words of the ancients to buy them time. She noticed the giant rams and Prairie Shepard. She had sensed
them before ever seeing them. So many magnificent forces united together for the safety and well being of all. In the distance she could see the dark
demons forming a circle, as though protecting something within. Could this be something even more terrifying than any of them could ever imagine? Were
they changing their tactics? She shook her head to clear it. No time to wonder, only to act and act swiftly.
The snow was falling harder now obstructing their view. They needed reinforcements as the numbers grew seemingly from nowhere. One of the demon
creatures knocked the Elf from her horse. Her sword flew from her hands. As she struggled for air, she crawled toward it only to see a demon looking
down at her. Quickly she grabbed the weapon and rolled away, stood on her feet, pivoted and attacked with all her might.
