Lucid - I will send a focused meditation of light and love your way today / tonight.

Thank you SO much for doing the OP meditation and for giving me that great feedback!!

I wrote it out sort of stream-of-consciousness while in a meditative state, so it comes from wherever that stuff comes from. I think there are similar ones out there in the world from different sources. I won't claim it as being only my own, but the words and way it was written are mine.

As I read your post and contemplated a prayer for you, the image of the howling wolf against the snow struck something in me which inspired the first two lines of the poem below -

Thank you for your words and your energy. I felt the difference! Ah, yes, stream of consciousness writing- I know it well, that's where most all if my best work has cone from.

I seriously can't keep an ego... The only thing I really have to have an ego about is writing... And every time I start to build up some ego aboutbitbsomeone is right there to show me that hey, I'm not the only one with a way with words...

Like haha I'm LucidWarrior, and in all the writing give done about tryingbto explain what that means to me never have i been able to get it was succinct as that.

Yes. The answer is most definitely yes. The Crucible is a terrible place to be in one's life, and as one is melted, hammered and honed and pounded into some new shape, some new vessel, larger and thinner and able to hold more of compassion and love, it can feel like torture.

I'm so sorry you are having dark times. May the light find you.

I am sending out some positive light to the world along with a donation to UNICEF to tackle world hunger. Sometimes, a little more is needed.

I keep reading that only pennies of your donated dollar to some charities goes to the cause. With my Husband and I both on limited incomes, we only donate to local food banks, also donate clothing and other things to the poor. So at least we are doing something.

At this time in my life I am the baby elephant.
Every word and prayer of compassion makes a difference. You have helped me immensely. Know that, no matter how small you deem your thought it reaches out embracing the world.

It reminds me of my sailor days. I would be so far away, but so close to those I knew held me in their hearts. The most horrendous storm could not part us.
