And as for my own personal reply... I tried your experiment, as much as I was able to consciously envision it and felt a wonderful sensation spreading through me, exactly as if a light waking to shine through a dark night...
I will have to try and cultivate that light again, this time focused on Mr silence as well as generalized...

Curious... This experiment... Did you create it or did you find it else where and shared it here?
Either way it is glorious and as someone already said, perfection...

Here is a meager return for your effort. May you find rest in days to come.

As we climb "that mountain" that was so glorious from a distance, so smooth and alluring, we find ourselves yearning for rest and perhaps wondering if we took the wrong path.
The trails are merciless all our good intent is worthless unless we can seize that stone that blocks our way, one at a time.

As I read your post and contemplated a prayer for you, the image of the howling wolf against the snow struck something in me which inspired the first two lines of the poem below -

- so, I spent about an hour composing the rest...I hope it 'lightens' your heart..


Light from the moon
that silvers the snow,
Light from the dawn
a soft golden glow,

Light from the stars
that spark in the night,
Light from the sun
that warms the day bright,

And all of this Light
that shines from above,

along with God's Love.

I sent you a couple of PMs here at ATS regarding your request. I did a "quick" send the day I saw your post, and a full meditation last night. I didn't see a reply from you, so I wasn't sure you got my messages.

Thank you so much for reaching out to ask.

I'm so grateful to all the folks who spent some time and energy sending their light to you.

I know, for myself, that I use whatever positive thoughts and good vibes and prayers that are sent to me immediately -- they don't wait in a queue or anything for a rainy day, and some days, that extra bit of well-wishing from some other soul on the planet, I swear, is what gets me through.

May your dark time relinquish to sweet days ahead, like discord to harmony in the symphony of your life.

You all made me cry with your kind and compassionate response.

Most often man responds to pain with aggression, but you give your heart thank you. Please continue the battle is not over.
I have found over the years that, just that, compassion, is the root of ATS. I am at a loss for words.
