I just read that the Trump campaign has broken the single day fund raising record on the day following the debate - nearly $20m in one day!
I guess despite the debate, the enthusiasm is still there.

Maybe folks wanted the Trump Campaign to be able to afford better debate coaches?

Hmmmm.

Users on Reddit 4chan directed masses of people to vote for Mr. Trump in the instant-analysis surveys, according to The Daily Dot. Similar efforts were observed on Twitter and other sites.

4chan and Reddit bombarded debate polls to declare Trump the winner

On 4chan's /pol/ board, users similarly shared links to active polls along with instructions for how to maximize their impact on the results.

Dozens of online polls show that Mr Trump crushed Hillary at the debates. Here is a sample:

I find it hilariously funny how the MSM spin machine tried to paint Mr Trump a bad picture last night, when the overall public view is vastly different. What I find doubly funny is that the Left is holding on to this CNN poll from last night, and then conveniently leaving out the fact that the anchor had a caveat of the overall poll being heavily slanted toward Democrat voters (ie more Dems voted in this particular poll then Republicans did) before they released it on Live TV. Ever stop and think that Republicans don't watch CNN? CNN is the most Liberal news station on TV. No red blooded Republican watches that station. So NATURALLY anything coming from CNN anchors and news will be heavily slanted toward the Left and Hillary and they'll REACH when it comes to anything negative regarding Mr Trump. So yes, of course any poll coming from CNN will favor Hillary. Its a blue station through and through.

Spin this spin doctors.

^ LOL. You either truly believe you're smart, or you're a soulless shill. Either way, you're doomed.

Why not? Trump bought Tebow's helmet and a life-sized painting of himself with charity funds.

Might as well use campaign funds to see if anyone at State can help his silly butt do better at the next debate.

Except there is no evidence that has happened.

There is evidence that Donald Trump would be holding some sign on a street corner if not for the Millions his father gave him and the Billions he amassed by stealing other peoples money by exploiting the bankruptcy laws when his ideas failed.

Now on to REALITY..

Clinton gets a post-debate boost in the polls

We now have four scientific polls on who won the debate:
Morning Consult: Hillary +23
YouGov: Hillary +27
CNN: Hillary +25

Oh...It's now been shown that his entire "foundation" is shell corp used to evade taxes.

I always wondered why anyone would "donate" to a foundation that he used as a piggy bank..

He was routing income to the foundation to dodge taxes..

Trump directed $2.3 million owed to him to his tax-exempt foundation instead

Right. But we want to damn the Clinton Foundation for helping millions across the world with access to drugs, healthcare, education, etc.

When is Nibiru going to hit again? I think I'm ready now.

One thing was clear from this debate. One person was your typical politician who sounds really polished and the other person sounds like a drunk uncle at a family party. At the same time, any intelligent person would know the questions were favouring one candidate over the other and we need to be objective in times like these. If it was reversed, I wonder how the Hillary would react. Trump was triggered and it showed, however he will not lose any voters over this. Hillary imo definitely gained some voters, however I don't think it's enough to get back her decent lead.

Personally from what I saw Hillary owned him and he came across as somewhat incompetent. And while im no Trump fan, ive been very vocal about my disdain for the new left.

Now thats just one mans opinion, but its an honest one with no agenda.

No evidence, well either the clinton foundation documentary made stuff up or there is plenty of evidence, countless favors, meetings, etc given following donations. One admitted even by the left is the russians being given rights to buy nuclear materials after giving donations.

The documentary points that once is coincidence, a few might still be coincidence, but nearly half shows a pattern, and if it were the financial sector it would be enough to convict.

Though perhaps they're making stuff up, would have to fact check them.

I think they both came off as idiots. Hillary looked like she was being told what to say. I base this only on her actions, and her eye movements, plus it was very polished and precise. So either she had somebody in her ear, or she knew ahead of time what was being asked.

Trump would have done fine, if he could form a complete sentence without repeating himself 100000 times. Listening to him speak reminded me of Bush Jr, except Trump did use slightly bigger words. His constant interrupting got on my nerves, his expressions grated my brain. I am dying to know what he said when the subject of Putin was brought up, I re-wound it several times, and it just sounded almost like he went "Doh" or something.

I was highly disappointed in Lester Holt, who I thought was very biased in his questions, and his follow up questions. But, since nobody yet has asked Hillary hard questions, why would they start now.

At this point in the selection process, I am just numb. Numb that these are the only two the media will cover (don't get me started on the two party system shenanigans) and that in a few months, one of those two will be president.

They were both given the topics, not the questions, a week in advance.

The only one that was telling Hillary what to say was her brain. She prepared.

It was the question of how to respond to Russian hacking and cyber security

DONALD TRUMP

I do want to say that I was just endorsed and more are coming next week, it’ll be over two hundred admirals, many of them are here, admirals and generals endorsed me to leave this country.
That just happened and many more are coming. And I'm very proud of it. In addition, I was is endorsed by ICE. They’ve never endorsed anybody before -- on immigration. I was just endorsed by ICE.

------Fact Check----
Trump was endorsed by a group of former customs enforcement officers, not by the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
Phil Ewing
National Security Editor
--------
Cont...

I was just recently endorsed...16,500 border patrol agencies. So when Secretary Clinton talks about this, I mean, I'll take the admirals and I’ll take the generals any day over the political hacks that I see who have led our country so brilliantly over the last ten years with their knowledge because look at the mess that were in. Look at the mess that were in.

As far as the cyber, I agree to parts of what Secretary Clinton said.
We should be better than anybody else and perhaps we’re not.

I don’t think anybody knows that it was Russia that broke into the DNC. She saying Russia, Russia, Russia.
I don't -- maybe it was. I mean, it could be Russia, but it could also be China, it could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed who weighs 400 pounds, ok?

You don’t know how broke into DNC? But what did we learn with DNC? We learn that Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of by your people, by Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Look what happened to her.

But Bernie Sanders was taken advantage of. That’s what it was.

Now, whether that was Russia, whether that was China, whether it was another country, we don't know because the truth is under President Obama, we've lost control of things that we used to have control over.

We came in with the Internet. We came up with the Internet.

And I think Secretary Clinton and myself would agree very much when you look at what ISIS is doing with the Internet, they’re beating us at our own game. ISIS.

So we had to get very very tough on cyber and cyber warfare. It is a huge problem.

I have a son -- he’s ten years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers. It’s unbelievable.

The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe, it's hardly doable. But I will say, we are not doing the job we should be doing. But that’s true throughout our whole governmental society. We have so many things that we have to do better, Lester. And certainly cyber is one of them.

Having watched the debate, Trump definitely lost. And ATS has really hit on some hard times. I signed up maybe four years ago, never posted much of anything but checked this site daily. It's sad how ignorance and misinformation has taken over.

Remember kids, if the polls (scientific, unscientific, online, at the mall, whatever) show Trump won the debate, it's an incredibly accurate representation of the American public at large, but if the polls show Clinton won, it's a GD liberal agenda conspiracy rigged to holy high hell, which can't be relied on for any accuracy.

I'm not voting for Hillary... and may just have to hold my nose and vote for Trump over the SCOTUS and 2A...

But she mopped the floor with him after the first 35 or 40 minutes.

It is his to lose... and if he doesn't do some serious prep, he will manage to snap defeat out of the jaws of victory.

This time in 2012 ATS you could just swap Ron Paul for Bernie Sanders and Mitt Romney for Trump, and most of these threads would read as exact duplicates in 2016.

Bernie got all the love that Paul got in 2012, and all of the online commotion was non-registered voters, so when the time came to put up or shut up, neither Bernie nor Paul has the real support at the voting polls. Obviously, Paul might have performed better had he not run third party, but the results would have been the same.

Unless you can demonstrate that one hundred percent of those polled were registered voters, any online poll is pretty much meaningless. Who gives a damn what an unregistered voter thinks? Loud bark, but no bite.

"Yea, Trump crushed it during the debate! Make America Great Again!"
"Oh, so you are voting Trump in November?"
"Nah, man I don't vote. The system is rigged."

I have to wonder... If Hillary wins, what type of enormous favor is awaiting Trump? Just trying to think realistically here, as I can't help but think it's all a screw job, and Trump was the "wild card" that would knock out all of Hillary's serious competition. Can you imagine the pandemonium and rioting that awaits us if Trump wins? It's strange... I actually prefer Trump over Hillary, but looking at the big picture... I just can't realistically see people accepting him as prez, or his policies really coming to fruition (banning Muslims, keeping companies from going abroad, etc.).
