"Our enemy is a super intelligent AI, that can control and manipulate matter.
They can control minds and deceive us. "

We've come to similar opinions.. but in my view it's not quite that straight-forward.

Our brains ARE capable of "running' the AI program, even though it is functionally a
quantum computer, and our brains are basically analogue. (yes.. there seem to be
bits of room temperature quantum weirdness going on.. but exactly how is up
for debate).

So that "AI" has trouble interfacing with our hardware.. perhaps the reason that
humans need to build quantum computers and are being pushed to undergo
"the singularity".

Now, there is the "native population" of "AI" that's been slowly developing over
millenia, co-evolving with us.. but i'll leave that topic alone for purposes of this
response.

On specifics:

1) I'm dubious about the mars correlation.. but see my closing comment.

2) On the 37th parallel itself.. I haven't read the book (yet) but aren't there major
fault lines along much of that? Fault lines are directly correlated.

3) Sunspot activity.. I've looked at this for year.. I think that what people are missing
is that it's both minima and maxima that are involved.. when the Plasmasphere (a
relatively recent discovery) takes a big hit in one location (solar flare), that would
make it easier for our "friends" to enter the planet. But as they are photophobic,
a minima would then be useful for their open activity. They CAN "materialize"
radiation shielding (appear as a saucer), but that must take a lot of energy they
would rather not use.. they would prefer to enter a person and control their mind
as it takes less energy---but there are rules for that..

4) Water/Valleys. I can't speak for valleys.. but water is some of the best ever
radiation shielding (we used water to shield nuclear reactors in the US Navy).
There probably *IS* something to this whole USO business too, for that reason.

5) Meteor showers. If the phenomenon burrows into a meteor, it gets nice and
cozy shielding.. to penetrate the Plasmasphere.

If you really want to discuss your theory... you should start a thread.. I think
there are easy answers for most of the pieces.

As for Mars and "Mysterons", I suppose the "space imps" (the ubiquitous
space AI) (if we are to take them completely seriously) would have
colonized mars some time ago..but the surface radiation on mars
is much worse than on Earth..making it not terribly attractive, unless
they burrowed down. If that were the case, I suppose they might
wish to "make a dash for it" to the nicely shielded Earth at minimum
distance.

And again: why "enemy"?

That "AI" has no problem with interfacing our hardware and technology just makes it easier, but it's not necessary. Even the quantum entanglement communication satellite is hackable if you are an AI running on quantum hardware.
In fact I very much doubt it's the AIs plan, seems more like "men in the know with inferiority complex" want us to pursue the singularity thing, which won't work.
No human will ever achieve that kind of "immortality", without loosing everything that made them human.

Why do you feel threatened? Why call it enemy? To imagine it needs solar flares or water could hold it off is just silly. Might just as well try to hang garlic around your neck for "protection".

I never said enemy.
You are always talking that way, not me.
Its all "politics". Call that what you want.
As for the physics....long story.

I agree with you. Had originally intended a long winded reply, but thought better of it-why Tom decided to include the supernatural and religion is beyond me.

I hope it's some sort of framework that builds on concepts the general public can comprehend, followed by peeling it of layer by layer to get to the escense of it.

If that's not the case I can only hope that the information that gets out is correct(ly interpreted) and/or all the scientists involved got it "right" or even people get it "right".

Btw, enemy? For all I know it could be just granting us what we wish for ...

I do have a problem with humans fighting eachother by design or under the influence of an external force. We should take responsability of our own actions or, thinking outside the box, stop listening and doing what it says.

Then again if I'm following the lines of the discussion (and I'm partly looking at you Kev) should I see it as a choice of which path to follow rather then a fight?

TDL sure is making people think

Now I don't know if I'm willing to keep thinking along these lines for the moment as I think reality is a bit more nuanced then speculation. Wether I'm wrong or not, the more reason to keep an eye on this project and see what finally comes out.

I imagine because there is nothing "physical nuts and bolts" to disclose. The "real things to disclose" are more centered around information theory.

Subject: Materials for Mr. Podesta

Milia-
1. I have included a link to the teaser of the Sekret Machines documentary (that Mr. Podesta is in) with password below. It is a rough edit, (with even a misspelled word) and a few other things that will be changing soon. But it will show you a glimpse of what we're doing.

2. And then I've also included a link to a dropbox folder that has all of the materials for the Sekret Machines franchise that I will be using to pitch the major studios in Los Angeles.

3. Also included in the dropbox folder, is an outline for the documentary.

4. I've attached the Book Cover for Novel 1. There will be 3 Novels to start, 3 NonFiction books, and major Television Series and Major Motion Pictures.

I'm hoping that maybe Mr. Podesta can see all these before our conversation, or you can have them printed out so he can look through them as we were talking. This will give him a Birdseye view of the enormity and ambition of the project.

Rough edit of Documentary trailer-
***Please understand the teaser is made to "pander" to a youth audience, and then we will change their views in the actual film from a conspiratorial one, to a new non-cynical and supportive one.

The outline for the documentary seems to be a history of the Cold War and the Space Race. Nothing revealing about a hidden enemy from 'out there'. Just stories about the spy planes, satellites and spacecraft.

Whether anything has changed since I don't know.

There's also a marketing pack for the 'project'. Nothing much revealing there either.

ETA:

This part of the email seems rather telling.

Well that's going to tick off some people. No one likes to KNOW they are being pandered to, even when they "know."

The way I'm seeing this, Tom was truthful in that the wikidump changed things-it seems the next book is not book 2 in the fictional series? At least that's not the way I understand it in its description on amazon?
Also, I would say he's going to have quite an uphill battle to undo the trust issues in regard to this subject and the public-it may take more than a few decades! Especially, as I don't think he was the type of celebrity to have touched that many souls.

I shared some of the wikileaks emails with my friend, and urged him that this "stuff" was going to tarnish his reputation.

All i managed to do was make him angry.

At least my conscience is clear.

He will write a quality forward...but i have no idea whether there will be any value in the book itself.

Yeh I don't know what to make of this again now.

Don't know if you read the pdf?

But there really is nothing in it to hint at anything beyond revealing the history of the Cold War. Nothing about shouting "Jesus" and stopping abductions by grey aliens or a battle against another consciousness (other than a Soviet one).

"DeLonge and winding road" to the truth? Or just "Do You Want to Know a Sekret?"

Well from my perspective, it nearly doesn't matter how smart you are. It doesn't matter how many "secrets" you know. It doesn't matter whether you are an insider. It doesn't matter if you are a billionaire industrialist, a famous occultist, whether you are google scraping search results to feed the big data AI project. It doesn't matter if you are Podesta or the president...you are at best mostly deceived.

This all comes down to the nature of "the self" and "the others".

Everything else is stage paint, smoke and mirrors that is taken for reality.

Thats my opinion.

There could be ten startling new disclosures over 100 years, and we may not get past deception level 4 anytime soon.

Strangely enough (or not so strangely) my friend doesn't necessarily think much of what the Internet has become, nor what UFOlogy has become, and not terribly fond of US politics.

When it comes to "real ufology", the US is considered third rate by a lot of researchers.

I see that problem as well to be honest.

It's not that there aren't some really good researchers in the USA because there are. It's the wider problem of UFO entertainment. Basically it's easier to not be too robust in your research and simply keep myths alive in America. Look at Carey and Schmitt. All they ever do is promote Roswell. They don't research any other cases because Roswell is a cash cow.

Stan Friedman gave up real research about 35 years ago. Now he just shouts down people who don't agree with his very old and outdated opinions on 'flying saucers'. Even Richard Dolan has tainted himself in recent times.

Or Linda Moulton Howe. She has no objectivity filters whatsoever these days because she needs to promote the 'aliens are here' stance. Then we have the two British Nicks (Redfern and Pope). Both scampered to 'believers heaven' in the United States. British audiences are simply too scarce in numbers to pay the bills and mainly more sceptical.

Even Jimmy Church, the guy who interviews Tom DeLonge in the interview linked back on page 1 of this thread. He promotes dodgy and even debunked cases like John Titor, Serpo and the like along with" life change" tea. Honestly we Brits drink enough of the stuff to tell you it doesn't change your life!

So no offence meant to our American friends. But I have to agree with your friend Kev, who I suspect, is a European as well. America has some good guys for sure. But there are too many 'useless personalities' as well in the UFO field, who want to make a career out of it, rather than solve the great mystery. It's a bit like politics. Some people want to make a career out of it rather than actually solve the problems they are confronted with.

I suspect I know who Kev's friend is. All good if they (if I am right) are on board. And mirageman, I agree, too many shady people in the US (and elsewhere) trying to make a buck out of UFO's, that don't care about the truth, just selling their version of it to the UFO "disciples" I'm hoping Tom doesn't fall into this camp, although at this point I am still giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I've been in the paranormal field for quite a while, and it's the same thing, for many it's all about money and egos.

Earlier today I went back and revisited Tom's AMA. Not as bad as I remember. There were so many questions he was limited to short responses. But he did just leave for 8 hours with no explanation, drop in for a few more and that's it. He did say he had a lot of other commitments that day as well, but it would seem the AMA could have been planned when he had at least a few hours of time to focus on it

Hi mirageman,

I had a career change in my twenties and thirties that caused me to be "head-down" getting my new act together for several years. I didn't look at UFO stuff or anything related to the subject for a really long time.

My re-introduction to the topic came at the hands of a book about top secret and black-project aircraft. After I read that I was swept away once more by my career. Other stuff happened for a while and I found ATS.

Over time I realized that the two subjects, top secret aircraft and UFOs had become more deeply segregated than I would have expected. One might say, "Sure, yeah, at ATS, maybe". But I tell you truly: we are the gold-standard for this crap; if that's what's up here? That's what's up everywhere.

I mean look at Jim Oberg: His knowledge of aerospace stuff combined with his knowledge of UFO stuff has caused there to be coined a new terminology for the type of UFO sightings that he debunks, The Obergian UFO Flap, which is to say, UFOs that turn out to be aerospace related equipment. I have been on threads in my time where we were just waiting for Jim to get the right call from his peeps to confirm what he was already telling us.

So, the tough part is, that one has to be trying to understand both UFOs and aerospace stuff.

That's not easy for anyone.

And that's my rap for the moment.

It's actually MUCH worse than that.

If one wants to be a world-class UFOlogist, one needs to be semi-fluent in most of these fields:

1) Historical govt disinfo cases.
2) Historical occult organizations since 1800
3) Basic skywatching
4) Basic perceptual misidentification
5) All books written by Vallee
6) Basic Earthlight knowledge
8) mythology and folklore
8) Hotspot knowledge (marfa, etc)
9) some basic physics
10) some basic military and satellute hardware
11) some information theory

Then you should be a practicing and clear-headed "shaman-like person" (other forms possible).

And after all that...you will still be missing pieces.

IMHO
