Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I think the real term should be 'initial appearance' where the cards are laid on the table. Then a 'hearing' would be determined from who actually holds the Aces.

From there there may be some bargaining which may include 'no public disclosure' if an agreement is determined. Otherwise then if the matter was to go to 'hearing' then we will all get a look at the 'cards' so to say.

My take on future litigation in this matter,

It is from the folks I have talked to that actually have it...they are waiting for the OK to release as there is a court case pending as of the 26th and do not want to mess it up for the guy she is harassing by giving her defense team time to analyze prior to the hearing.

Err... how does that work with discovery? I'm sure that, even in her jurisdiction, the defendant should be given the evidence in order to prepare for the hearing.

Not the same for a restraining order. If he is going for one then he can bring it day of. At least that's how it works in GA.

You can send the discovery over on the last day of the deadline. But that still gives them time to analyze.

Personally if i was the judge id grant a motion to strike. Or a demurer her side of the case wholesale.

And if hes the one suing i hope theres lots of interest piling up on the amount demanded in his initial 998 letter to her.

I don't think full disclosure is required prior to the preliminary hearing. That's the initial contact between the court and the litigants. At that hearing, they have to disclose and share any evidence they have to be ready for future hearings and the trial itself.

My understanding anyway...

She's done radio interviews, website articles and shared the multiple videos by encouraging other's to post it everywhere to get the word out. She's enlisted celebrities, formed Twitter teams to run around the web to share her word. With every living breathe she's been hell bent on getting others to hate this guy and Trump supporters. How can she apologize or recant this as far and deep as she pushed it?

That's not to even start on what she did to the cop by filing a complaint based upon false information. And calling the ACLU on the cop. If I were the police station I'd be following this and get her for filing a falsified complaint report.

Any lawyers on the board here know if her actions could cause her to serve time over this?
