I've never seen a problem with mainstream Islam in the uk. I've seen problems with extremists and people who want to cause trouble.

The 2 aren't mutually exclusive.

It's easy to fall into a trap discussing scripture. Scripture isn't the problem.

It's practice that is the problem. 1400 years of unchanged ideology and the modern world, a tale of incompatibility, that is the problem.

Maybe you should research what mainstream Islam believes about how society should function before you dismiss the connection between mainstream Islam and the terrorism it enables.
