Oh, I did also make of point of the large issue of lackings in assimilation a big part of the thread.

I can show you a poll that the majority of Americans want to do all sorts. It would be a biased poll, obliviously.

Makes you think, doesn't it? Just how accurate were those polls? Did the 100 or 1000 people asked really represent the 1.6 billion people, or did they just represent a minority?

Pew and Gallop present their methodology on their websites in regard to any polling they do.

Majority of the polls were localized in the EU nation they were held. Combined you see the same kinds of trends across the EU and even in places like India, Australia and the USA.

I get it. There was actually a general disregard for the framing intended by the opening videos from 'all' the people who came in 'pissed' about the entire affair (from the get).

I know. It's an extrapolation. That's where there is problems.

Ask 1000 people who have never left London, but have seen lavish adverts for Spain, where they would rather live. I'm sure the numbers would be in favour of Spain.

Polls are a horrible way of getting accurate data. They only accurately represent the people that have been asked. The extrapolated numbers are nothing more than an educated guess which could be wrong and/or biased.

But again, we're talking about polls and data that isn't close to covering 50% of people. At best, the polls represent 25% of available data.

They weren't talking about where you'd like to live. They were 'half' about things such as do they want Shari Law to come to 'there', combined with rape etc crime type statistics to show that they aren't assimilating all too well (pretty much anywhere). More than just a few bad apples is the global trend.

If the links covered 100% off the Muslim World then it would have included that kind of data from the Middle East. And that would be an UGLY affair. While some of the graphs did show that kind of stuff, I deliberately made it a point to leave that kind of data mostly out of the hyperlinks dataset (I think about 3 total made it in the links). If that's not giving them a fair shake then I dont know what is.

Again, the data acquired is from a tiny amount of the 1.6 billion.

Statistically analysis and sampling is integral to science.
If you just disregard it you're going to have to toss an awful lot of stuff out the window. On the other hand, if you can offer an actual criticism.

Maybe one solution would be for the Western countries in question's laws to be much firmer when applied to Muslim crimes?

As in hate crime?
That's there. So is enhanced sentencing for terrorist acts.

I've never been a fan of polls like this. There's too much extrapolation. 100 or 1000 people do not represent 1.6 billion people. (Emphasis on too much)

Just look at the US party threads, for example. One thread shows Hillary is majority and the other, on the same day, is saying Trump is.

It gets more complicated because some of the biggest issues are their domestic (wife abuse) type affairs.

Which by the way you can bet your life that kinds of data is dramatically under-represented in public data (although the opinion polls probably help adjust those types of trends).

My impression with the polls is the respondents can't seem to lie about their positions on the matters even if it makes them / all look bad.

There are indeed cases in which sampling techniques are inadequate or just plain stupid.
If the data on the polls are not available you have a reasonable position. If they are, you'll need to offer a critique.

Limit immigration from Islamic countries. Ban the practice of Sharia law and courts.

Ban the practice of Sharia law and courts.
In the US the only law is US and state law.
Oh, unless you're on a reservation, I guess. Is that a conflict?

I agree, until you combined them all together nationwide and across chronos.

Unless the polls are rigged, an entirely different issue, BUT my impression of the articles and such is if anything PC polite police would be the ones rigging the data downwards. We dont want to go there!
