The point is, buying property is, in and of itself, an investment. An LLC is a vehicle for protecting that investment and reducing the tax burden involved with it.

Clinton and her partner seem to be aware of that fact and have decided that establishing an LLC for that investment is a good idea. Reducing personal liability (not just because of renting) is something worth considering. Reducing tax burden (not just from rentals) is something worth considering.

There is nothing nefarious about using an LLC to purchase property. It is, in all likelihood done with an eye to the future and is done quite commonly. Otherwise, there would not be much sense in it. Maybe you think Clinton has no sense. I don't think so.

LLC protects personal assets from lawsuits.
The property can be sub rented should Chelsea decide to move back to their Gramercy Park location.
It allows for privacy / anonymity for famous people to hide residences since the owner info would show the LLC instead of the individuals names.

I don't rent out my own home. So I don't really see the advantage of forming a LLC for my mortgage purposes.

This condo was probably bought as an investment to resell at some later date to earn a profit, not as a home to live in for too long.

She and Marc probably use it for something else other than a home, such as a personal office space for themselves, living space for a nanny, or something related to personal medical/physical therapies. It could be any number of reasons and purchasing it under an LLC probably simplifies the tax deduction claims.

Lol I was trying to move the thread beyond the LLC discussion and thought I would use the apartment looks nice comment. Apparently it was not successful.

I saw an earlier post that said a nascar driver owned the second floor. Did he have an apartment there and if he did how do they get around the zoning issue of not having residential and businesses located on the same floors?

Well everyone, brace yourselves because it looks like Hillary may be Killery.

It appears Chelsea Clinton's apartment contains a medical neuro care facility. Not surprising considering the amount of money that family has laying around. Frankly I am surprised there is not a personal hospital EVERYWHERE she goes.

The black body guard is also not a Secret Service agent he is a high dollar neurologist. America is in a full constitutional crisis. If Hillary dies in office Tim Kaine becomes President or Biden if she is replaced per another leak indicating dnc is in emergency meetings discussing that very thing. This is their last chance to see that agenda 30 gets achieved and they are going all in even if it means totally violating what's left of the Democratic process.

No work has been done on the 4th floor. They left it alone. That whole instrument suite would still be there, including HVAC, ducts and shielding. Cafema would have been able to arrange for it to remain as Hillary's private clinic and Chelsea would have the other 3 bedrooms. Cafema was the first purchase and it happened soon after what Bill Clinton described as 6 months of treatment for Hillary's blood clots in the brain. Only 2 months were in a regular hospital.

So with all this said I think we all can conclude what is really going on and that Clinton's health is in NO shape to run for president. There is a protocol set in place called "Fall of Cassandra" and it's only implemented in the event that Hillary dies. If and when she dies, they will claim she was killed with a poisonous substance (already happening): www.washingtonpost.com...
