Keep trying old girl...you'll still loose.
The man makes a first contact with a foreign leader and he wasn't thrown out,OPPS.

Wait, that's supposed to be an accomplishment? Have expectations gotten so low that it's become a "victory" if a US presidential candidate meets a foreign leader and isn't thrown out?

And accomplishes nothing.

Trump is like getting a present all wrapped up in gilded wrapping with a big giant bow on top.

But, when you open it - - the box is empty.

This is so true! And the one you get from Hillary is full of Pus

Mexican president disputes Trump over border wall payment discussion

"Who pays for the wall? We didn't discuss," Trump had said when asked by a reporter during a news conference following their meeting in Mexico City. "We did discuss the wall.

We didn't discuss payment of the wall. That'll be for a later date

." But Peña Nieto later claimed the two had discussed the wall and who would pay for it -- and he had "made it clear" to Trump it wouldn't be Mexico.

"At the start of the conversation with Donald Trump, I made it clear that Mexico will not pay for the wall," Peña Nieto tweeted, after their meeting Wednesday. www.cnn.com...

The excuse:

Jason Miller, Trump's senior communications adviser, called the meeting "the first part of the discussion and a relationship builder" between the two men, after Peña Nieto tweeted. "It was not a negotiation, and that would have been inappropriate. It is unsurprising that they hold two different views on this issue, and we look forward to continuing the conversation," he said in a statement. www.cnn.com...

I would but you would be SO lonely....
Not at all.
He merely was jubilant SOMETHING was being done and your BIAS mind projected...again.

Sorry but the biased mind here isn't mine. What did Trump get done? Besides asking foreign leader if he could do something here in America he got absolutely nothing done.

I only say what I see, he saw an issue and went to deal with it DIRECTLY like a business, not like a lawyer,it is refreshing,if grandstanding thus NOT surprising.

So you are saying he broke the law? Let me guess you didn't bother to read the link that explained the Logan act.

YES I did.
He didn''t meet the requirements as he holds no office.
He approached a situation like a business to find out about the next deal.
BLAME famous basket ball tourists who go to North Korea for softening THAT little law.

Pathtic really.

Basicaly Trump has pretty much come away with NOTHING.

He is just hoping his supporters are dumb enough to think what he has just said is something even though the USA had this right anyway.

Its a pathetic has our ex PM attempts to negotiate with the EU, only diffrence was the UK was smart enough to know he got nothing.

Nothing will happen any more that it did to Rodman.
But as Trump is a private citizen and Mexico IS NOT an enemy nation so HE is legally FREE to travel there ,there was no law broken ,it is NOT applicable unless there is a US policy that specifically orders it.
The pathetic rants about it NOT withstanding.
Funny how such a casual visit violates the LOGAN act but Benghazi and all the mess are ignored ,it's quite disgusting as well as QUITE telling about all issues here and those who pursue them.

Your own source article makes clear the following:

*** President Nieto did not say he would "let" America build a wall on American soil. That is a blatant lie.

What he said was that he agreed that America has the intrinsic right to build whatever they want on their own property. We don't need him to "approve" anything, because we don't answer to him or anyone else.

*** There was no discussion about the wall. Nieto told Trump straight up that Mexico would not provide funding, period. Trump chose not to respond, so they didn't discuss it.

Not only did he not deliver what he promised his supporters and get Mexico to agree to pay for a wall, when confronted directly with the subject of funding he dodged it altogether. He accomplished absolutely nothing.

Funny how people are acting like Trump was asking for permission... No I don't see that, he's just saying Mexico are in agreement that it is a right the US has, or any country for that matter... Many people say Trump is racist and evil for wanting to, seems the Mexican president disagrees! THAT is the point...

He isn't just saying build a wall either, he's talking about securing the border with everything they can, above and below sensors and border guards. I don't really see the big problem here, you think people should go over unchecked? Say for example you are a criminal, maybe you are a rapist and because of that you are on a register in Mexico and restricted from doing certain activities. Why not just nip over to America and change your name, job done! You think that is okay and should be?

I just don't get it, what is the problem?

Edit: And as for the funding issue... Pfft, why would Trump dive straight into that right now, especially in the opening minutes of meeting the guy and not even being the president yet. I'm sure he can negotiate this while re-negotiating the north american trade agreement, something that the Mexican president is in favour of too.

He's claiming that America is losing 58 Billion on the current trade deal and saying the wall will cost 10 Billion, don't you see how he's going to get Mexico to pay?
I agree with Trump, it will be very easy (if his figures are true).

We ALL just want to be safe.

Even Mexicans.

Why would they? They gets all those .gov handouts.

Thats right. Food stamps make people too rich too work. Or they can't be used to buy a bus ticket all the way out of the hood to a farm to pick cotton every day.

It's not unlike how hobo's would rather stand out frying in the sun all day out there spa-aging, than go work a shovel...

Maybe they're disabled, veterans, diminished in some way. How they supposed to get a shower and shave, new clothes, a ride to work for a month to get to a pay day?

Easy for someone living indoors with a full belly to say 'go work a shovel'. I live in big city megalopolis, I'm not aware of any 'shovel jobs' locally.
