I am curious as to what kind of path to knowledge you have chosen, or if you're just trying to meet new people and hook up. I know you couldn't of joined the freemasons, because it's an all boys club. I know that there is an order of the eastern star for the wives of freemasons, but it sounds like you got yourself into something silly, if you're messing around with fictional beings like Cthulhu.
Have you looked into the Rosicrucians? I've only been a member for 6 months or so, but I can tell you that the highest degrees are called illuminati degrees. Amorc.org is the website to learn more. Basically they offer a spiritual path to higher knowledge. They study mysticism, metaphysics, psych powers, and natural laws amongst other topics. It's mystery school teachings plus so much more for the mystic.
