There are rumours that there was a crash of a test platform of this bird in 1967 in Oxfordshire, UK. There were rumours that it was "retrieved" and taken to RAF Bicester.

interesting all the way back then they were thinking about using it for a satellite launch platform and having a top speed of M 4.2+

Took this picture years ago when I had what seemed like the whole air force flying a few hundred feet over my house on a regular basis,..thought maybe someone would enjoy it,..btw anything unusual you notice about the aircraft in question?

pretty interesting the whole idea of of a circular detonation front. i noticed in the video i posted the model they show has what looks like a whole series of spark plugs/flame holders.

i would love to know what one of these things sound like running
