Just putting this out there: I couldnt care less what another country thinks about my country. Why should I? I have enough problems to worry about. Last thing I need to be thinking about is what someone else, of whom I dont know and is 4 scores of miles away, thinks about me or my country. If they're not trying to help, then they can get lost and let me handle my life and my community in the little ways that I do.

You mooned police officers? Let me be absolutely frank and honest with you friend, I am very surprised you were not shot and or beaten to death, I'm not joking. When I was 15 me and a buddy got into a confrontation with some local Cops and my friend didn't want to be questioned by them and then they threatened to take him down to the station and he ran away from them and two cops chased him down tackled him on pavement hand cuffed him and dragged him across the parking lot by the handcuffs and took him around the side of the grocery store this was occurring at. Now when the two cops that dragged him out of sight of my self, my friends Mother, other police officers and grocery store employees two more cops joined them around the corner and four Chesterfield County VA Police officers took turns beating my friend with knight sticks, fists and feet and if I remember correctly they also pepper sprayed him. He had a major concussion, three broken teeth, two black eyes, a broken wrist, bruised ribs and the Cops NEVER got into trouble for anything, and once again he was 15 years old and he never once struck one of the Cops. You are VERY lucky my northern friend. P.s. my friend and all four officers were white.

I believe happenings like these, and hearing in the news how random people start shooting in schools, malls, cinemas, and so on, are the reason tourists are warned to be cautious when or if visiting America.

while no country is perfect, some are safer than others. Many countries prohibit their citizens from owning any type of gun, but in USA this is a right through that 2nd amendment [or what's called, im not sure sorry].

NYC and LA are the 2 cities i want to visit in USA..

The UAE giving us a travel warning??? Give me a break. They have a DEATH PENALTY for being gay.

no they dont.

I love the part in the article where the Europeans are scared of gun violence, even though the have swarms of refugees raping women all the time.

refugees ain't raping women all the time, ladies having their bum touched, which is the basis behind the sexual assault stories, is a far cry from gun crime.

america itself is a hard sell for european tourists, no real history, the sunshine and sandy beaches of florida and california bested by the mediterranean, and with las vegas only selling point being casinos, which every town has in europe has, their isn't much reason to go.
long flight times also hurt, and thats before you even book a holiday!
gun crime, a small factor for most has been ratcheted up by an american politician lately, when he asked the pro gun types to sort out his opponent, which does raise questions about general safety.
the same politician has demonised a religion to boot, while it appears a white muslim could travel freely to america, christians of middle eastern ethnicity are being stopped from entering america.
america is not advertising itself as the goto destination.

Go read the other Wikipedia page that says it does apply. Either way we have an oppressive Sharia state condemning the USA ? Cute.

Are you dismissing the women being molested by the refugees? Sounds like it.

It's okay, the entire world is under attack by the globalists, so the less people invading the USA, the better. We have enough to deal with as it is.

I meant as a collective and as a tourist destination, or a school destination, or a safe place to live.

Overall crime is down in the United States and has been going down for decades. If some jackasses from overseas want to exaggerate current social issues and get all triggered, oh well, have at it paintywaists.

Crime coming down isn't impressive when its ridiculously high to start with.

I mean, I love the bravado your trying to portray over the internet, its impressive. Really.

I think Americans are in a type of abusive relationship. They themselves cannot tell just how awful things are, but their friends can see it crystal clear.

They mistake ignorance for patriotism.

I got a good offer for a ticket with the flight company Norwegian.
Had no time for it so i call my son and said how would you like me to give you a trip to USA.
His answer was to my big surprise: No thank's dad, too much tension over there at the moment for me to relax.
Was so perplexed that i did not know what to answer.
Did not want to get into a argument so after some chit chat i hang up.

That is quite literally the elephant in the room, we here in Aussiland are seeing the same fallout.......simply having brown skin is enough to get the phobes (sic) out in force..........

Post your data and make sure you explain why you chose particular metrics.

No thanks. I'll just make my statement like you did.

And you should maybe try to dial back on the pretentious school teacher act.

Except crime has been coming down and there are plenty of reports to support this. Your vague statement will rely on selecting an arbitrary start time to support your overly vague comment.

Good ahead, prove me wrong.

So you don't want to post sources but expect others to?

Since when has crime been coming down? Which arbitrary date do you want to pick for that vague comment?

Don't let that high horse kick you on the way down.

*sigh*

So simple. Violent crime at historical lows.

Since it is at historical lows that would be from the beginning. Nothing arbitrary there.

Don't let that high horse kick you on the way down.

Says the guy who cannot post up evidence.

So simple it took you 3 posts to grasp the concept of posting a source. *shock*

As for my evidence, i'll just use the same source you did.

So then we are in agreement, crime has been going down for decades, is at historic lows and your statement was without merit.

Thanks for playing!

It's also ridiculously high! Yay.

The beginning of time? Or when they first started tracking it? Give us the date.

Not my original point goalpost shifter.

What do you think? Unless you have a time machine that you can use to take us back before statistics were kept. I would not doubt that you do since you like to make unsubstantiated pronouncements.

Strange then that you claim the data is from the "beginning" yet the source you provided only shows from 2009?

Time to change your goalposts maybe?

*sigh*

I guess you missed that Table 1 goes back to 1994?

No worries, you must have been to busy trying to think of that witty comeback. You need more data just let me know!!!

They also have data back to 1993 so which one do you want to use? I'm guessing your idea of a source is to just post a website then? lol

Since you've dodged the question of the start date numerous times now I'm guessing you don't know.

It's ok to admit your mistakes, I know its hard when you put on such a front. But honestly, no-one will think less of you.
