I forgot all about Tempest- something about the vector graphics coin-ops that I always enjoyed.
I also liked:
Battlezone
Defender
Missile Command
Moon Patrol
and too many others to list...
PLUS
just about any pinball machine from the 70's/80's
I loved Vectorman 1 and 2 for Sega Genesis, and the first Jedi Knight fps for PC. Freakin 90's, man, great times. Oh, how could I forget Rebel Moon
Rising for PC.

In 1982 sinister came on to the scene.

My father used to take me and my sister to the arcade once a month or so. I was seven years old.
This game was asteroids on meth!
I remember running out of quarters and going over to my old man for more, and having to wait 10 minutes watching sweat stream off his nose as he
played..
When he died he would frantically give me money for the change machine just to be able to stick that next coin in before the 10 second replay timer
ran out..lol ..
The good old days...

Mario Party (Nintendo 64)
Super Smash Brothers (Nintendo 64)
Perfect Dark (Nintendo 64)
Elder Scrolls : Morrowind (Xbox)
Halo (Xbox)
I never really got into video games before nintendo 64, so my list is a bit newish. I know xbox isn't that old, but I thought Halo and Morrowind were
both really amazing games for their time.

I stopped playing Call of Duty after 4 or 5. I had the latest one (9 I think?) and was"360 quick scoped headshot" by a few young kids before I gave up
and sold it.
I just can't compete on these adherol energy drink infused kid's level. It's not even a war game anymore, it's Ninja Warrior : Gun Edition.

Actraiser for Super NES
Also others that may for may not have been mentioned:
Super Mario 1-3
Contra
Castelevania III + SOTN
Donkey Kong Country
Mario Cart
Goldeneye
Super Mario World
Life Force (never played it)
Actraiser was an AMAZING yet relatively unknown game. I thought it was groundbreaking at the time. First you play as God (sort of) in the building of
your cities, then you beam down as a mortal warrior to clear the dungeons which threaten your city with monsters. Ahead of its time, and I think
deserves a re-introduction to the modern gaming world.

Later, beta testing and tech support for many titles including ... GTA III
Did you have anything to do with the highly underappreciated Riot code cheat?? That totally added a whole new challenge to the game, unfortunately
saving a game with this cheat enabled would corrupt the data.
That really should have carried over to 4 and 5 though, as well as san andreas.
pssh, I live to ruin those kids days. My #1 gun in Black ops 2 (#9) is the tac 45 semi auto pistol. When it comes to quick scopers I use two tactics.
I put on my running class, which is double perks down all slots, and only the pistol, or sometimes a shotgun. Just hug the walls on the way and then
BAM!
The other method is even more fun. I just go full on noobtube + RPG + C4. My ps3 stopped reading discs last november though, and me and the kids just
been playing PVZ from download.
Everything on nintendo did on the SNES and 64 was gold. Does anyone remember the Xband?? My first taste
of multiplayer was the super nintendo with dial up. The original matchmaking process.
The M-14 was my best friend in MW3. I liked using the specialist class myself. Once you get enough kills you are running around with every perk. My
baby always will be Black ops 1 though for zombies, and ops 2 for multi.
MW3 is where I really started enjoying C4. I don't mind campers, although I rarely ever did. All of us will camp at one point, particularly in
objective games. I get why it makes people mad, but really it should just be motivation to get creative to burn down the tent lol.
I forget the name of the map, but there was one where some of my friends on team would lock down this narrow hallway that was on the second floor. It
had one window, and only two doorways. Two of us would park on both ends of the hallway and the rest would kill anyone who tried to enter. It made for
some very pissed off players. When they would try to rush the tank, we just tossed C4 over his head and boom.
other than that, I was mostly a run n gunner. AH6 was certainly the shiznit. I still got them all on PS3, I just cannot play them.
Double Dragon II and Final Fight. I've been playing A Link to the past on the SNES emulator recently too.
I also just found my old SNES console, now just waiting on the price to go up on those things. I currently only have one game on it, NBA LIVE 96...but
it's awesome.
Road Rash 1-3 (Megadrive)
Urban/Jungle Strike (Megadrive)
GoldenEye (N64)
Mario Kart (SNES + N64 versions)
Pokemon Red (GameBoy)
Deus Ex (PC)
Age of Empires I-II(PC)
Sorry, they were all my favourite at some point and I can't pick between them!
