I never started playing video games until the mid to late 90's.
It was mainly golf and motor racing games. Then I sort of got bit by the platform game bug.
Burnt myself out and never played for quite a few years until my Grandson took an interest.....now he beats me at one game or another almost every
day.
My big thing was arcade games back in the very early 80's.
I used to spend all day in a place called Space City playing arcade games, pool and generally getting up to mischief.....anything rather than go to
school.
Phoenix was my favourite, closely followed by Commando.
I was ok at Galaxian but a mate of mine was excellent at it.
I liked Pacman World, it was different.
And I loved Defender but I was terrible at it.
Donkey Kong was good when it first came out and so was Track and Field.
It was only a few weeks ago I was looking at buying two or three arcade games, we'll see.
For some reason I can't get away with Call of Duty sort of games.
