A female demon of the night who supposedly flies around searching for newborn children either to kidnap or strangle them. Also, she sleeps with men to seduce them into propagating demon sons. Legends told about Lilith are ancient. The rabbinical myths of Lilith being Adam's first wife seem to relate to the Sumero-Babylonian Goddess Belit-ili, or Belili. To the Canaanites, Lilith was Baalat, the "Divine Lady." On a tablet from Ur, ca. 2000 BCE, she was addressed as Lillake.

One story is that God created Adam and Lilith as twins joined together at the back. She demanded equality with Adam, failing to achieve it, she left him in anger. This is sometimes accompanied by a Muslim legend that after leaving Adam Lilith slept with Satan, thus creating the demonic Djinn.

In another version of the myth of Lilith, she was Adam's first wife before Eve. Adam married her because he became tired of coupling with animals, a common Middle-Eastern herdsmen practice, though the Old Testament declared it a sin (Deuteronomy 27:21). Adam tried to make Lilith lie beneath him during sexual intercourse. Lilith would not meet this demand of male dominance. She cursed Adam and hurried to her home by the Red Sea.

Adam complained to God who then sent three angels, Sanvi, Sansanvi and Semangelaf, to bring Lilith back to Eden. Lilith rebuffed the angels by cursing them. While by the Red Sea Lilith became a lover to demons and producing 100 babies a day. The angels said that God would take these demon children away from her unless she returned to Adam. When she did not return, she was punished accordingly. And, God also gave Adam the docile Eve.

According to some Lilith's fecundity and sexual preferences showed she was a Great Mother of settled agricultural tribes, who resisted the invasions of the nomadic herdsmen, represented by Adam. It is felt the early Hebrews disliked the Great Mother who drank the blood of Abel, the herdsman, after being slain by the elder god of agriculture and smithcraft, Cain (Genesis 4:11). Lilith's Red Sea is but another version of Kali Ma's Ocean of Blood, which gave birth to all things but needed periodic sacrificial replenishment.

Speculation is that perhaps there was a connection between Lilith and the Etruscan divinity Lenith, who possessed no face and waited at the gate of the underworld along with Eita and Persipnei (Hecate and Persephone) to receive the souls of the dead. The underworld gate was a yoni, and also a lily, which had "no face." Admission into the underworld was frequently mythologized as a sexual union. (see Tantrism) The lily or lilu (lotus) was the Great Mother's flower-yoni, whose title formed Lilith's name.

Even though the story of Lilith disappeared from the canonical Bible, her daughters the lilim haunted men for over a thousand years. It was well into that Middle Ages that Jews still manufactured amulets to keep away the lilim. Supposedly they were lusty she-demons who copulated with men in all their dreams, causing nocturnal emissions.

I'm not allowed to use known science concepts in a philosophical debate? I wasn't aware of that rule.

Hey if its mutually consensual I don't care.

Haha...best comment in this thread!

The OP is an interesting correlation between two sources that technically aren't of the same holy caliber. I love things like this.

No, they did some gene (genesis) tampering in a lab on a heavenly platform---also known as the mothership. Behold, the man has become like one of us. Too simple yet outrageous to swallow

I could't help notice a similarity between the names of the Fallen angels (Watchers) in the book of Enoch & the names of Noah's ancestors in the Book of Jubilees

When you look hard enough, you will realize that almost all religion is spawned from a single lost source.

There was a race of people here before modern man. They were far far smarter than we are today.

Definitely excellent observations I have read some of Jubilees and don't remember that. I do know however of the Sethites who avoided the flood because they never left the mountain and lived among the Watchers before the descent from Hermon but that is just mythology.

The Sons of God or Watchers definitely created a hybrid race of giants that necessitated the flood though, to answer the question, yes. It's even told in Greek mythology with the Titans and Olympians.

Lilith is the consort of Samael who is NOT Satan at all. They created Azazel who was the most powerful Watcher more so than Semyaza. Islam might say a shaitan but not the shaitan I don't know for sure. Samael is who it is in Judaism though.

Christianity assumes that they are all Satan out of obsession but demonology is complex in Judaism. Raziel was the teacher of Adam and is the object of invocations today, real or not.

I am just rambling but your quote conflated Satan and Samael and it is not correct. Satan is in good standing with Yahweh not an enemy but an emissary. Samael is the angel of death with eyes all over his body.

Noah's son Shem could have originated from Shemyhaza which, in Hebrew stands for 'Name of Power' (Shem - y - haza).

However, technically, during the days of Noah, the only sub vowel was 'y'. This means that the real alias of the joint Grigori leader (watcher) is Shymhz.

Lilith was the world's first "Lee Harvey" followed closely by 'Judas'.. Heck, (Hades) Lee Harvey is/was actually the 3rd "Lee Harvey"...

Nah Lilith was the first rebel. She wasn't about to submit to male authority and since God demanded she uttered the Ineffable and became the Serpent.

Lilith IS the Serpent, she knew how to fool the less intelligent Woman and used her to get back at Adam and God then shacked up with the angel of death Samael and birthed Azazel the first devil, the so called scapegoat was a god in his own right until Dudael and Tartarus/Sheol were populated by him and his cohorts. Azazel is in some Tarot cards represented as in chains and upside down, his current home. He still gets a holiday today in Judaism.

Every Sem name like Semiramis and Semyaza have a connection with HaShem and are Elohim including Shem/Melchizedek. I believe Semiramis was Shems daughter and Cush's then Nimrod's wife. Guessing on the daughter but the rest of what I said is true. Shem has a deeper meaning than I have yet to understand but means Name. "Hello, I am Name." It makes no sense. But it can mean God as in HaShem and in another pronunciation it means heaven. Mystery. It has meaning in Egyptian too. Serious meaning like Shem was a great leader in Egypt until Nimrod came and Egyptian and Jewish names are shared in the name of Moses too. Shem killed Nimrod in some Egyptian tales and is hated and called Seth so Seth becomes good in Judaism as Adams good son and Esau is given credit for killing Nimrod. Abraham too or whoever killed Amraphel. There are many Nimrod's in the Bible actually as it makes a good story for new heroes.

I don't know how to link a pdf but Google Sepher Raziel and the one that says the book of the great Raziel>complete>weebly rejected scriptures is the one I recommend because its colorful and has the words so Instead of black and white its black with colored letters. It's a Kabbalah book.

I know none of that from what I can tell but thank the hell out you for it Seth is my favorite subject and I didn't know that even existed.

Is it from Catholicism because if so I have some reading to do? I concentrate on the Jewish writings mostly.

I am going to read up on it and I will be back.

Thanks again.

It seems like something I would look for in Hinduism as the articles you gave me seem to point to a Hyksos origin which is what some ancient historians call the Kalani who became the Hebrews. Rocail seems like it would be Rocael so find a Hebrew meaning to Roca and you will probably find your answer.

Roca el, in a story about the Kabba, the cube that holds the rock. I am just guessing but Rocael probably has Kabba listic meaning. I didn't know that the Kabba shrine was that old but if Rocael is rock of God like I think it means then it is a bigger mystery why it is Seths younger brother. Seth recorded information in Egypt according to legend and apparently Rocael did the same thing with the Kabba.

Just some quick thoughts but I am very interested now.

Yes, it happened before the flood me after it. Satan was trying to pollute the human genetic code after the prophecy in the garden that the seed of the woman would crush his head.
