Yep, I found average £430, even cheaper closer to the day.
I did a job Saturday and Sunday, paid my son £100 per day for labouring, and after materials I still earned enough to pay the plane ticket and have £500 in my pocket. Cash isn't the issue, more motivation and laziness lol.
If a load of people are going then it will be more attractive, I'm more the spontaneous last minute kind of bloke.

I'm making a list... I'm checking it twice!

November the 12th has been decided, it's a Saturday.

We have a decent handful already committed, and another handful interested.

Ah that sounds cool, I'd do a weekend, maybe Friday to Monday, that could be fun.
Like I said though, it will be a spontaneous decision the week or so before...I don't usually plan anything more than 7 days in advance.

Travelling alone is my favourite to be honest, I like the excitement, the randomness of the people I happen to meet.
An ATS meetup would be a fantastic story, who knows, no guarantee I'll get back to the UK alive...life insurance is up to date though so aside from being tortured in a Saw movie style I'm definitely on the 'drawn to doing it' style.

I'm just north of NYC but think I'll pass and stay anonymous lol. Nice opportunity, though

I know for sure that... I'm not going to get up at the a$$ crack of dawn on Saturday though. I plan to be fresh as a daisy for the evening, lol. So, I'm thinking mid to late afternoon we can all gather if a museum or something like that is in order. Then dinner/drinks come evening. Bars are only open till 2 am I believe. So there's that to consider.

It's going to be a disaster for sure. We're all paranoid as fug. And I am going to need several drinks to avoid a mental breakdown.

Proceeds from milk pumped (and only pumped- I don't get into adult breastfeeding fetishes), would fund my trip. Maybe a little kickback to the site, but it's hard work making milk, so I should get to have the fun!
