Less impressive but I was at Exeter (England) museum a few months ago and saw the most beautiful 4500 year old turquoise ring in a glass case. No security just elderly volunteer guides...I'm ashamed to admit I wanted to smash the glass and steal it then go home and do a Gollum with the precious.

It also sends out an audio recording of whatever was happening 60 seconds before the alert was sent out, so that those contacts can try to piece together what happened
