To be fair:

1. You're seeing the exception to the rule, not the rule. Most of us get along just fine, especially in real life.

2. People don't seem willing to accept this, but the Democratic Party is actually center-right on a lot of issues. This is especially true when it comes to the MIC, the War on Drugs, keeping for-profit healthcare and for-profit prison systems, fracking, the criminal justice system, and much much more. Pay attention to the actual policies they've implemented, not the rhetoric, and you'll see what I mean.

But Bernie supporters typically come from the far left, which includes democratic socialists, actual socialists (like myself), anti-war pacifists, people who prioritize actions on climate change, etc. We also include people who want to legalize drugs; people who want to prosecute Bush admin officials for the Iraq War & Gitmo; people who want universal healthcare; people who want economic reforms like higher living wages, student loan debt forgiveness, and prosecution of the Wall St executives responsible for the 2008 economic collapse; etc.

The Dem Party may have adopted some of our positions in its latest official Party Platform, but make no mistake, Dem powerbrokers are aggressively against most of these stances. Remember, both Dem and Repub officials at the local and State level helped shut down the Occupy Wall St movement, for example. And the "pro-environment" Democratic Party has presided over the meteoric rise of the US fracking industry, and somehow couldn't manage to pass any climate change legislation even when it had majorities in both Houses of Congress from 2008-2010 (among the other progressive policies it "coincidentally" never passed). Like I said, pay attention to the actual policies it passes, not the rhetoric. The terms "triangulation", "Blue Dog Democrats" and "Third Way Democrats" will help explain the situation.

So in short, the majority of the conflict is actually between the Dem powerbrokers and the far left activists. Most of the voters don't particularly care either way, especially with the common ideological "enemies" of conservatism and Republicans constantly attacking our priorities. Though of course there will always be exceptions to what I just said, but some people will always find something to bicker over.

Simply put, they are attempting to shame them into voting for Hillary... The Hillary supporters have blinders on, so any rebuttal you give is quickly followed with "how can you vote for that racist Bigot Trump...blah blah blah"... There tactic is not to educate the voters off Hillary's wonderful platform, but to shame them into voting for her, while creating a doomsday narrative around Trump...

That might have been true during the primaries, I do recall that, your right.
But after the convention it stopped, the DNC was fully united to win.
They had picked they guy with the biggest crowds coming out of all the people trying to be President.

That's not true. The Democrats were not united, at all.

Only 54% of Hillary voters were supporting Obama AFTER the primary race ended.

In a CNN/ORC survey conducted in early June, entirely before the New York senator officially ended her White House bid, 22 percent of Clinton supporters said they would not vote at all if Obama was the party's nominee. Now close to a third say they will stay home. In all, only 54 percent of Clinton backers say they plan on voting for Obama.

Maybe if instead of saying bernie was a commie, and bernouts where sjw idiots, maybe if the right would have played nicer in the sandbox some might have voted trump.

You cant insult and bully people then turn around and say why dont you guys like us.

Exactly!! If Donald hadn't been a complete and total ass during the primary, I can honestly say that my opinion may have been different from what it is today. After all, Donald Trump's, (and his supporters') behavior is the reason I'm voting for Hillary instead of Jill or writing in Bernie.

You'll notice that little theme as you go. Hillary fans insulting those who don't follow the Party line. You must be "less than" because you don't agree with them.
Fall in line.
Do What You Are Told and marginalize those who don't agree. You'll notice the Dems are quick to turn on their own.

The ultimate irony is thinking that we won't see communism because Bernie is gone but in truth, we'll see it even more when Hillary gets in.

Look how the DNC was run!

Funny, I haven't actually seen that. I have seen Democrats trying to convince Bernie supporters to be reasonable.

Curious, that the post above yours explains that Bernie people that won't vote for Hillary are insane.
Talk about being nice!

You mean vote Democrat because.....well, it's a Democrat? Support the Party, even if they don't like or believe in the candidate?
Call it what you like, it's the Hillary fans trying to shame Sanders supporters in to following a candidate they never wanted.

I'll tell you why..

Because during the primary, Bernie supporters attacked, embarrassed, and insulted us Hillary supporters worse than the Trump followers did. Now that Bernie lost fair and square (either way you slice it, he didn't get enough votes) it feelseems a little good to have them cornered with the Trump/Hillary choice knowing in their mind they have to choose from the lesser of 2 evils.

Recalling the so-called progressive voters in the Democratic Party, in 2008, and comments like this one regarding Hillary voters, from my link above:

Christina
Because they're racist, sexist, blithering IDIOTS!!!

OBAMA '08!!!

I really want to say they are just reaping what they sowed, if they are being bullied and intimidated now.

Kind of but not really. Hillary supporters are not really arguing with the Berners on a candidate level. That's what they don't understand. We're not saying vote for Hillary because she's a democrat...

We're arguing POLICY... you may not like Hillary, but it's not about her.. it's about the Policy and Platform. Vote for the Policy and Platform, not the individual.

Add to that there is more evidence coming out that there was cheating going on in the primaries, and the voices of the afflicted were silenced at the convention.
Some democracy in that ''Democratic Party".
Using white noise generators to silence the people that they cheated. Forcing the delegates out of the hall and filling their seats with paid actors.... what a sham affair!
Shameful.

Bernie was never a democrat, die hards know this. What's important is that Trump is a # idiot - we run with this philosophy until the cows come home, Hillarys past is irrelevant because Trump is a # idiot.

Hillary has never done anything wrong and negligent because Trump is a # idiot.

Rinse, and repeat.

I find it strange that the democrats that supported Hillary take such delight in humiliating there fellow democrats that supported Bernie.

I'm a Bernie supporter and no one (on the left) has tried to humiliate me. I'm sure there is a small group of Bernie holdouts (10%) who still feel that Hillary is "the competition", therefore feel they must hold tight to Bernie... It's the same 'team mentality' mindset that pits right against left, or that divides the Mets fans from Yankee fans... They don't give up their "loyalty" just because their team loses.

They live in kind of a fantasy that they're RIGHT and the other side is WRONG. I'm not big on that mindset. I'm into moving forward in the reality at hand. This is how it is, people. Let's move on.

Besides...90% of Bernie Supporters will Vote for Hillary

The reality at hand is that crooks run the country, and have for a long time.

And your realistic way of dealing with this is to install more crooks.

Hmmmm, human beings sure are funny.

No matter WHAT I do (vote for Trump, Hillary, Jill, write in Bernie or stay home), come January, the person in the White House will be someone who has proven to be less-than honorable, less-than honest, less-than what I would like to see in there.

Blame that on me all you want. But, as you said, this has been in the works for a long time.

There is no irony, you guys are grasping at straws to insult the left more and more, and thats why the right wont win even if hillary is an evil witch.
