Had a high school friend who sat in a tree in a park screaming at everyone not to pick him because he was an apple and not ripe yet.

I'm sure there's some correlational delusions of grandeur in my post here somewhere!

Here's a thought...what if the Second Coming happened already...and we killed..um..re-killed Jesus before He could save us???

I don't buy into it. I have no idea either way as I wasn't there.

It's no secret though he was close to King James and it's also no secret he indeed translated certain Psalms. The rest is open for debate however. People say he has in the 46th Psalm code, " Shake " and " Spear." Same people also believe he wrote Shakespeare.

Donald Trump is the anointed one according to many devotees here on ATS.

They seem to worship him as some sort of savior for mankind and the answer to their prayers to rid us of the Antichrist Obama.

Jesus' second coming happened when he rose from the dead and mingled with his disciples, before ascending to Heaven, surely?

I think the whole theology and being immensely focused on Jesus, trying to be like him, and revering him as an idol, along with a low sense of self esteem is probably the cause of these Messiah complexes. I don't hear any one claiming to be Moses, or anyone even dare to say they are the incarnation of Mohammed, only Jesus.

It just like Black Comedian said about being black from the Chapelle show...Ever one want to be Jesus, but nobody wants to die like him.

You know as well as I, the majority of Christians only read their bible on Sunday and Wednesday.

They dont know anything about baby jesus powers!

He'll return, and when he does, I will most like not be living here on earth. So I'm not to fussed about. None of these here today are Him, and we have been told that he will not be found on earth, not in the desert or secret chambers. He descends from Heaven.

Jesus ain't coming. Nobody is coming. Until we as a species learn to stand on our own two feet and accept our responsibility we will use religion as a crutch to justify our inhumanity.

The dichotomy: Religion professes we should love everyone, but promotes division; is said to be perfect yet accepts interpretation.

Well,since by the time He is supposed to come back Hell on earth is supposed to be happening there wouldn`t be much doubt when the sky rolls back and he returns with the hosts of Heaven would there?Anyone claiming to be Christ until that happens is obviously a false Christ,simple as that.

Exactly, that's why I say I likely won't be alive to see it.

Whether or not you believe in the idea of a rapture, the odds of being one of the few how makes it through to the end of the seven years here on earth are going to be very low.
