SO.....

If he comes to Earth on a cloud then what do you think that means exactly?

Will he have a body?

Will he be ON A CLOUD? If so... how will we SEE him if he doesn't have a body?

Just pondering this second coming so I can be prepared and not miss the boat per say.

ISIS fits in with God's great plan for his children of Earth. HE is IN CONTROL of all that happens here.. is he not?

This might be a little OT, but I remember a Russian film called Ostrov ( the island ) it was a very powerful film for me becoused it showed at least to me the differntce between someone who can do and the people who just want to be seen as important. A beutiful film that for me showed what a wonderful soul we have.

We have our own free will.... kind of like being a parent to teens who just do whatever they want because they are "grown and know everything". Give them EXACT instructions as to how to live and what to do with their life and they just do what they want because it's "their life".... yeah... thats how I picture God and us. He probably wants to ground us or spank the crap out of us about now. LOL Maybe take our phones and internet?

I think "the cloud" is a way of saying that he comes accompanied by the full output of God's power.
"Like a flash of lightning" means that the event will be sudden, and also that everyone will see him and recognise him (so you are in no danger of missing the event).
The man in your OP doesn't fit any of that.

As for the body; in Christian teaching, it was his body that was raised from the dead, and I see no theological reason why he should have parted company with it since.

What is a Christ? An annointed one.

Originally Israel had had many messiahs, David, Joshua, Cyrus, etc. But someone decided that there would ba a THE Messiah who ushered in Solomonic glory for Israel.

Whoever this Jesus was even the Bible doesn't have his life story straight and assigns non Messianic passages/prophecies to him in order to "prove" his Messiah-ship. Analysis of these passages/prophecies reveals the ineptitude of the NT authors/editors in interpreting the Tanakh.

The Gospel of Thomas is the ONLY believable document to attest to the existence of a man who could have been Jesus and the rest are myths possibly based off of the Righteous Rabbi of the DSS.

They probably destroyed them before 2000 years of false beliefs passed and the Scrolls were discovered. Too late imo.
I believe these scrolls were captured by Romans who created the Jesus Christ myth off of the characters of the Damascus Document and others found in the DSS.

The findings of Nag Hammadi also show that this Christ is allegorical but intelligent Alexandrians such as these authors probably knew it and taught it as a way to understand life and improve the self in a way not dependent on the priests.

Rome had a different plan and succeeded in carrying it out.

It would take a visit from the Almighty Himself for me to believe that this NT story was even true so consider the same requirement for me to believe someone was the second coming.

Jesus was a man and nothing more. He didn't even fulfill all the prophecies required of the Jewish messiah, and his second coming is probably an excuse concocted by Jesus' followers after his execution for rebellion against the state. Since he didn't meet all the requirements of the messiah during his lifetime, the only way for his sect of Judaism to survive was for his followers to say he was coming back.

And those they claim he fulfilled were written after the fact, just like so many other prophecies, except those so ambiguous, they can be made to fit just about any modern scenario.

I still think it is open to interpretation.

It can also mean he will come in a womb as it is cloudy... it also clouds your memory with all that amniotic fluid.

I understand what you are saying. From a biblical perspective it seems as if all the signs of his return will be found in the heavens/space.

Frankly I have read it all and still believe it is open to interpretation. If Sir Francis indeed edited the Bible to it's modern form today I know from reading other material about him he writes in codes, hence the Bible Codes.

So you are buying into that theory about one Bible translation.
But how could he have created the modern form of the Bible, when Bible versions in all the other languages have got the same form, and had that form for a thousand years before he was born?
If the AV had changed anything important, it could have been compared with all the other translations, still available, and the fact that changes had been made would have been noticed.
Conspiracy theories around the AV are based on the very American fallacy that the AV is the only Bible that exists.

I am more inclined to put my bet on plastic jesus. I expect the same result though, an eternally long wait.

If they are anointed to a small degree or large degree then I will say welcome to the mess humanity created .

If they say they are Yeshua reincarnated I will say welcome. If any being on any level want me to do something then they should give me logical reasons for it. If they cannot then they are not the beings I care to listen to.

If it is a power pyramid then it is not divine but unholy. If they are manifest specialist then I will probably be impressed by their techniques.
