Can't wait to see it.

On one hand, we have this imaginary Trump's racism, and on the other, a murderous criminal who is incapable of conducting any delicate work without consequences!

And you'll be still voting for a criminal. That's on you

You have no idea who I'll be voting for or even if I plan to vote.

This entire thread reeks of desperation from those who can't admit that last night's convention rocked.

Oh, I admit it rocked! It was a spectacle and I was fascinated with it! A study in the decline of the GOP. I didn't watch the speakers. But I loved the legal aspect of how the GOP elite threw away their own rules and bulldozed their way to get what they wanted. LOVED it!

"I read it once over, and that's all because I wrote it with as little help as possible,'' she told TODAY's Matt Lauer in an exclusive interview on Monday.

Rocked most of the country to sleep?

I appreciate news like this.

It takes away from the high unemployment, record numbers of people on food stamps and government welfare, failed foreign policies, terrorist attacks, a complete disregard for the rule of law by the Justice department and the Clintons, and a disregard for law enforcement and the continued push to assassinate those that serve and protect.

I say we just line Melania up against a wall and shoot her.

You're exactly right. But when you throw around murderous claims, it tends to trump (no pun intended) most allegations. I understand that its hard pinpoint the blame on Hillary for murdering those soldiers in Benghazi. But try convincing the Moms and various soldiers of that. Not happening. They see Hillary as a monster and a lot of voters will follow suit and see her the same exact way as well.

In fact, I know a few Democrats personally that said they were embarrassed during that Benghazi Moms speech and almost felt embarrassed to be a Democrat at that point and time. That speech the Mom made is going to resonate extremely loud as we go forward.

**BUT**, even if she did do it all on her own, **someone** in the campaign SHOULD have vetted it. It was a damn big deal. All eyes were on her and someone should have had her back. She's not a professional politician or even a professional speaker.

Yup :-)

It's a slap at Obama and his people - a public dig. Seriously low brow stuff

Antagonistic - definitely on purpose. The buck stops with Trump - not Melania

While I get that some people are loving Trump for upending convention, he continues to drag all of us - conservative, liberal - and any possible combination from any of that - lower and lower into the mud. There's more than one reason why so many prominent conservatives and entertainers wanted nothing to do with this convention

We actually have bigger fish to fry - but our expectations really can't get much lower than this

Famous last words...

:-)

Even if it were sabotage, she still read it. Didn't vet it. Took credit for writing the vast majority of it. So what speech writers? And why didn't they vet those? Can't toss it off that easily.

So where are the speech writers?

Shouldn't they be speaking out?

After all, they wrote the words.

That guy will never write a speech in that town again!

He'll be scribbling bowling award speeches on the back of cocktail napkins in Detroit if he's lucky.

Is the topic here, as trivial as it may be to some, Mrs Trump's speech or Clinton, Biden, Obama, and Benghazi?

Again, the character of the campaign goes to the character of the person one is possibly casting a vote for.

The way one pays attention or reacts to small issues and details like this is perhaps far more crucial to character and as important as how one does the same to the larger issues and details.

Again, she took credit. See above somewhere. So what writers? Maybe one of Trump's kids or Trump and his ghostwriter (the one not currently spilling the dirt on him) wrote it.

I also have the understanding that the country has some bigger issues to address and remedy then this one. It's easier to attack a persons words then seek answers to real issues. Neither side of the aisle has been doing much to fix the biggest issues.

It's typical politics of the present time.

This amuses the masses.

It's the equivalent of shouting, "Squirrel!" to a room full of dogs.

Truthfully I think we are being trolled about this.

I can understand the media going nuts over this because they be stupid but ATS members?

Good thing Melania is a legal immigrant, imagine if she were natural born american.

Shades of Sarah Palin!

So when is the FBI investigations and senate committee inquiries gonna start?

That's what the Right Wing and the GOP does.

Oh come on, you guys can get at least a small all Dem inquisition together pretty quick.

Pelosi, Cummings and Reid at least.

Someone said social media blew up over those lines being from Michelle Obama, this the same America that can't remember why we celebrate the forth of July ?

Someone within the Trump camp leaked it,

Did anyone posting under this topic remember it?

I feel bad for her, this is a bunch of BS

I didn't think it rocked, at all. I thought it was kind of sad. Most of the speakers were irrelevant. Scott Baio? REALLY!? Antonio Sabato!? Running so late that speakers like Joni Earnst were kicked to lesser time spots. And Giuliani came out shouting "Fired Up!" LMFAO! Hell, why didn't he borrow a bit from the Dems too and carry on with "Ready to go!"?
Trump himself wasn't even listening to the Benghazi victim's mom, he was calling into a news show. And his WWE entrance? Yep, that's about right. Coupled with the Trump campaign throwing the potential FLOTUS under the bus, it all comes off like the last gasp of a dying GOP.

It's a house of cards, people, and it's coming down.

Again, this entire Melania issue is a non-issue that people are blowing up. The media wants a story, they have one now. People forget about Obama ripping off parts of Devan Patricks speech. Whether he had permission or not, its moot. This type of stuff happens in politics folks. Its happened before, many times, and it'll happen again. Politics are dirty and have always been dirty. The Left is reaching on this one, sorry, but its true.

In the end, you have two choices. Crooked Hillary or Narcissistic Donald? Have fun with that.
