WTF!? I don't dismiss them AT ALL. I'm simply astute enough to comprehend that Hillary Clinton and her lies are not the topic of this thread.

When Democrats do it, nobody bats an eye. But when Republicans do it, everyone loses their mind.

I swear, the Trump campaign does this kind of thing on purpose. Same with ripping off Reagan's slogan.

IMO the whole incident is a sign of how Trump doesn't really want to be President.
Any competent political staffer/Speech writer would have written a speech that reflects Melania's nature speaking patterns. This didn't happen so even the news clips of her speaking are horrid.

This is a transcript of a speech made at the RNC last night. This is not going to go away. This will follow Hillary all the way to November.

There is a growing chorus of his supporters who are throwing their hands up in frustration at this point. They want very desperately to support him but he is giving them little inspiration or confidence to do so. Less and less as November draws near.

You might be right, to Trump all publicity is good publicity.
However, he would certainly be underestimating the American people and most certainly his supporters if he thinks this sort of bumbling and incompetence plays well - real or manufactured troll. People want stability and professionalism at this stage of the campaign.

I can't blame her for wanting to imitate brilliance. Poor thing, being used and now humiliated.

I don't agree. It will be so close, every vote from the margins will matter and this episode is costing the Trump campaign in that regard.
