YES, the country side of Ireland is a lush green with mounds and small towns. I am from the West coast but have been all around the country. Dingle Bay is a beautiful location as you look to the West you see the Atlantic Ocean and the moon and sun shine is glorious, imagine the magical sound of a harp playing in the background as the mist rises.....I have experienced this and she is a beauty. Now here in America, what a lovely country and the people are so different.

You write very beautifully! I could easily picture the scene you described. It was very vivid in my mind. Such eloquence and imagery. Yes, you are indeed a Sheddite of the shed. How are you today?

Beautiful description and just as I see it in my mind's eye.

My daughter had hoped, at one time, to travel there this summer and look for her/our ancestry. That will be another time now. I had hoped to squeeze it in during a visit to a wedding in Sweden in July however things just aren't falling into place at the moment.
