Sure Trump hasnt spoken yet, nor his GM of Trump wineries. But WHATEVER the words are, the POINT of having his sales rep at his convention is to sell. Is it not?

There has been plenty of coverage about the convention being an opportunity for several of Trump's associates to talk about him as a person. I suspect he will do that. I'll wait and see and not rubbish a guy before he has even spoken. I am watching with an open mind. So far it seems a bit of a mess and rather odd. I am not interested in partisan crap to derail the thread though. I am actually watching and commenting instead.

Problem is the base was tired of them and didn't like any of the REAL (establishment) republicans. That's why they're stuck with Trump. Now they're bellyaching. It's their own damn fault. The party thinks they will just bide their time, hold their nose, and put up with Hillary for four years. Little do they know, that once she gets in there, she'll be in for eight.

Scott Baio and Duck Dynasty seem oddly appropriate for a Donald convention. It's not even Republican anymore.

The GOP is DOA and Trump has created a new party. Clinton will mop the floor with them.
