Matter of time? Came along? Some have been talking reparations since...well since the Civil War. Just as it's only some here.

I think they all should have gotten money...then...but that ship has long sailed.

If this BS is true and not paraphrased or taken out of context, it's still only a small minority in the movement who feel this way.. Not all do. The movement could certainly stand for less of this kind of stuff and more focus on defining clearer goals.

Well how deep do you want to go? Slavery still exists today. Slavery existed before America.

Not quite sure what your point is, 150 years ago is a long time ago, no one is still alive from then.

I think we all need to find our common ground and build in that.

Most of us have a grievance of sorts with the way things are unraveling here in the States, whether it be institutionalized racism, institutionalized robbery, election fraud ect....point being, that our common ground is The System.

How 'The System' is interpreted is left tobthe discretion of the individuals.

But THAT is at least a bit of common ground that we can build on. Instead of dividing ourself, we need to unite ourselves under a common ground and build from there. You cannot build on a divided and shaky foundation.

Oh, I don't doubt that she believe in reparations and don't really care. Some do. Most don't. I was just really trying to say there's nothing new about it. As for "one of the organizers," maybe they should use more prudence as to who they allow to do that. Thanks, though

Just a side note; you know that after the Civil War they got reparations.........40 acres and a mule.

Worked out great for those that got 40 acres in the East Texas Oil field area, well...........their descendants made out great.

Here we see hatred and ignorance combined with racism at its finest and not only her but her supporters. How often must we see this type of racism towards white people before someone stops this. IMO it is only a matter of time before a racial war kicks off in U.S. ...... as if it was planned. A civil war is coming to the U.S. .... based on color.

Continue to ignore these types of warnings and close your eyes to what is clearly an "agenda" makes you just as guilty of spreading hate as this person does. Speak up! Write your congressman, contact your local police and report this type of hate crime.

The attitude this person has only "stirs up the pot" and activates other racists like the KKK to get involved.

Too many white people scared to speak up in the U.S. and too scared to be united...... what a shame.

They are being used like pawns on a board, and they're high on perceived power because of it. It's like giving the keys to a sports car to a teenager right now...it's a false sense of empowerment. And every single time things like this are shared/retweeted by the public, it only serves to reinforce that delusion, causing the behavior to continue to escalate. If everyone stopped promoting their agenda, and I mean EVERYONE, by making it such an important topic of conversation, that balloon would quickly deflate.

Of course that won't happen, not because the media insists on sensationalizing it, but because their audience feeds on the drama...essentially, we're giving them precisely what they are seeking. It's all anyone can seem to talk about...and not just in America, but all over the world.

They want attention, they want to grandstand and be center stage, and we're spoon feeding it to them, every single day, in bits and bytes.

They feel smug and cocky because they believe that the current administration is actually on their side and will protect them, therefore they can be as outrageously ghetto-fabulous as they want. And they're growing bolder by the minute. They think they're playing the system, when in fact the system is playing them. And when their usefulness has expired, they will be discarded.

Let her act a fool if she wants. I'd be willing to bet money that all those hateful words would die right in her misguided throat if she ever found herself in a real situation away from the cameras and a crowd to embolden and protect her.

People who shout and bluster and incite do it because they are afraid to stand alone for something. And with each person who joins their ranks, the posturing becomes that much more aggressive. And each time they get the reaction of righteous outrage and toxic, spewing vitriol that they're looking for, they grow bolder still.

When grown ass adults behave like spoiled little children, they need to be treated as such. If a child is behaving like a tyrant, it is because he knows it will get a reaction. And it doesn't matter if that reaction is negative. Because if he is able to affect his parent enough to make them stop whatever they're doing and focus all of their attention on him, then he is in control rather than they. And whomever is in control calls the shots. It's that simple.

If we want to take back the control over this situation, we can't rely on the government. This has become glaringly obvious. In fact, they have been very publicly and blatantly stirring the pot. You can practically hear the cackling every time some new drama erupts over this issue.

Ditto the media. They're booming with business over this. It is in their very best interest to keep the show going, and they do not give one shred of a damn if it results in a full out civil war. And forget a finger...the government has their whole hand in that pie.

If, as with bratty children having a tantrum, we simply stop giving them a reaction and refuse to pay one millisecond of attention to them at all until they decide to behave like intelligent, reasoning adults, it would give them significant pause. Because they expect to get a reaction...stop rewarding them with one, and it will take the wind out of their sails with a quickness.

Their numbers would drop too, because a large portion of their followers are only taking up the "cause" for the excitement and drama. Remove the incentive completely and they'll go find another bandwagon to jump on that will net them more facebook likes and retweets and channel subscribers.

I really wish that people could see all of this for what it is. It will be a great relief when they finally do, even though I know by the time that happens it will be far too late to change the path we are hurtling toward right now. But we still have time.

If we don't want the United States to become the world's biggest misnomer, then this codependent cycle has got to stop. We cannot control other people's actions. But we most definitely can control our own REactions to them. We can stop feeding their overblown egos and fueling the relentless train of hatred that is plowing through our nation. We can take a stand against this madness if we just work together.

I know other people have said all of these things before, and probably many more eloquently than I. And I also know they've been met with much animosity and derision for their trouble. I probably will too, but I feel like I've got to at least try. If even one person takes it to heart, then it's a win.

Only one outcome can result from continuing on the way we are now. And, despite the posturing from both sides of the divide, that particular outcome is not what anyone really wants.

You seem very vocal in your support for black only meetings and gatherings. Why are you able to comment on that but not on the reverse? You seem to be fully in support of racism by minorities.

I don't care so much that someone would want to have racially exclusive meetings. We all know there are things out there that practically end up being exclusive because one ethnicity or another is much more likely to be involved in this or that thing, so they end up being 99.9% people of that race, creed, or what have you when you attend them.

What kills me is the gigantic double standard.

You can have groups that work with the express intent being to help race A or group B and it's perfectly fine. Some groups can set up explicitly this or that group only meets, and we tolerate that. But if certain other groups try it, society has a royal cow over it.

You know if we are really going for equality, either everyone can do it, or no one can. No double standards.

Precisely, and really, I would prefer that we had true freedom of association, not because I want a bunch of "whites only" this or that because I don't care, but because I would prefer to keep my freedoms.

I want people to grow up, put on their big-boy or -girl pants and realize that if they want their little exclusive groups, then others should be free to have theirs and you can't go around crying foul as soon as you find one you don't like.

But that would mean that society would have to grow up and accept that certain groups who aren't allowed to have their own exclusive groups now could do so once again if they wanted.
