So does Saudi Arabia, Bahrain where the American 5th column lays half sail. And yet America has no issues with the Saudis who round gays up in trucks and execute them publicly and play with their heads.

You might find the link below interesting which talks about the Carter administration orchestrating the return of Ayatollah Khomeni to Iran in the late '70's under the impression that it would actually improve Middle East stability - that went well didn't it?

Funny that you omit the French overthrowing the Shah, and replaced him with the Ayatollah. Up to that point Iran was a significant U.S. ally. The ONLY nation outside the U.S. to receive the then state of the art F-14..

Yes the French act was oil based, as well. It's from that point on that things went downhill....

Cherry picking your facts only paints a slanted picture......

Actually, talk of the French over throwing the Shah is painting the slanting picture. I'll refer to my previous post or if you would rather get the link directly, here you go........

Elaborate on what?

Bush and a good group of neocons like McCain have threatend or called for the bombing of Iran! Hell McCain was calling for it last year!

Because they're Muslims...

/s

Because the US is allies with Saudi Arabia, which detests Iran. Also because Iran is traditionally tied with Russia. Also because the US has a history of meddling in Iranian affairs, which they do not like.

Iran was designated to become an enemy of the 'Great Satan'...
when the (exiled in France) Shia Cleric deposed the Shah of Iran in the first regime change operation in the modern Arab world.
NATO had Turkey... the House of Saud controlled Arabia so the early Globalists needed a Shia power-house nation to confront the mostly Sunni lands of Turks & Arabians so the prophecy by PIKE could gain a firm footing in the global paradigm

....the battles between Jews/Christians/Muslims needed goosed up...or else the final WW3 would fail to materialize

Uh no. The US & UK overthrew Iran's democratically elected leader Mohammad Mosaddegh in 1953 because he was trying to nationalize Iranian oil (which was "owned" by BP at the time). Then the US & UK installed the brutal dictator known as "The Shah" Pahlavi, who ruled Iran until the 1979 revolution. So if anything, that coup happened decades before the 1979 revolution. Also, the people of Iran are Persians, not Arabs.

Oh yeah, as for the OP:
Iran is the West's "enemy" for several reasons.

1. They served as a pretext for the US & NATO missile shields (which everyone should believe are actually intended for Russia).

2. Iran supports Assad in Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Both of these are enemies of Israel, which constantly claims that Iran is an existential threat to them. And since the West is political, economic, and military allies with Israel...

3. Some Wahhabis have a blood feud with Shiites and the Iran is a Shiite controlled regional powerhouse. And since the West is close allies with the 2 most powerful Wahhabi-controlled countries, Qatar and Saudi Arabia...

4. The GCC has a virtual Cold War going on against Iran. They're always competing over economic and geopolitical deals, including natural gas and petroleum deals with other countries. They're also competing over regional influence. And since the West has major petrodollar deals, investment deals, and lucrative defense contracts with the GCC nations...

5. If Iran would've been allowed to fully master nuclear energy, they would've been a threat to the industries in the "developed world" which have a stranglehold on nuclear plant designs, nuclear isotopes, and the such. Iran could've sold their own nuclear power plant designs and other nuclear technologies to poor countries at a fraction of the current costs. And remember, this has nothing to do with nuclear weapons.

There are probably other reasons but my brain's turning to goo lol. I need a break from the internet

Well done, the Iranian people are obviously kept well informed with what happens at the top table. It was orchestrated with America, I assume you have read the page and examined the documents displayed?
