There was once a guy named Mike
He sadly had a fight with his wife
She left and travelled much faster than the light
She departed that day
In a relative way
And, returned on the last night....
Just as they never had a fight...

Who in their right mind, wants to shop all at the same places, for the same damned things?

I get most of my best clobber from charity shops or the army and navy store. Never the same stuff, always unique items, at below knock down prices. I do not shop online for clothing and bits and bobs. Case in point, I got a leather suit jacket that fits me like a glove, good quality leather, good workmanship, beautifully lined in a burgundy colour that matches a tie I already have and at least one of my shirts. Guess how much that cost me?

Stuff guessing, it was less than eleven pounds. If I had bought that new (and this thing has been worn maybe twice by the look of things) it would have set me back EASILY sixty, if not a hundred of my hard earned pounds, and no one else around here has one like it. I get a look no one else in my area is rocking for the cost of a bad shirt from a high street retailer.

No its girly lotions and lip balms and fruity smelling stuff. LOL Someone “hosts” the party and gets a % of the sales.

a reply to: TrueBrit
I am so NOT a girly girl. I love to go to consignment shops. You find such amazing things, often with the tags still on it!!! Everyone else buys me fancy clothes for Christmas and birthdays. LOL Or I go to Walmart, where I can get EVERYTHING at one go. HAHAHA

TrueBrit, I like the new lock.

They tried selling me the boxers too for $.50 I got a good deal!

Minature Miracle, yes they apparently do happen for ordinary people.

I have missed being here, but I was becoming increasingly tired of my own misfortune.
But I have good news, which I credit to the prayers and well wishes of certain beings in the Shed.

As I eluded to, weeks ago I would have to transfer "Gigantuum" into my cat "infested" home on short notice and the reimbursement for her care would be minimal, contrary to the original intent. I was in a silent frenzy.

Lo and behold. Here is the miracle. The person in "charge" proposed just recently a fair deal, throwing in enough for a van and a proper fence. This was accompanied by many apologies for being "inconsiderate".
The dog has a solid gold urn to be placed in, in a mausoleum when she passes, which amounts to many times more than her living care.

Any way. I have time to adjust her and money to care for her.
