I'm saying that I bet she uses discretion and doesn't just walk right in after a little girl,

What parent just lets their little girl run off into the bathroom without them?? What age does little constitute?

So now you think I should accompany my 7 year old daughter in the girls' room? Or should I take her into the men's room with me?

I previously responded to someone about reacting to different situations and how to cope. You should scroll back.

I swear this has gone beyond insane. There has to be some crazy, shady, insanely corrupt crap going on someplace like a bill in congress to excuse people making more than $250,000 a year from taxes.

Seriously.

This reeks to high heaven of a massive distraction campaign to keep everyone throwing food at one another.

We ought to be looking everywhere else right now for people slinking around in the background pulling crap. THAT is "Denying Ignorance" and flying above the fray.

I had just had this same thought when I saw the transgender Jesus thread. It is gettng ridiculous to an extreme level.

Maybe TIPP stuff, the EPA pushing an econimic agenda and out & out saying that their new program is not about pollution but rather an invetment strategy, more intrusive legislation beng snuck in during the small hours when no one is watching?

I agree, something smells, and it isn't the toilets.

Read an article this morning, last night Congress voted to take $150B from the SS fund.

The schools I went to growing up took the doors off their stalls. This made all of us hold it until we went home. Talk about crappy rules.
Maybe the schools should just remove the walls of the bathrooms now too. Then NO ONE will want to May kuh doody. And just have one big shower room and let them wear bathing suits so no one is naked. Oh, but then we'll have fat shaming. Never mind.

Parents bring young children of both genders into the bathroom all the time, it seems to me it is usually the mother bringing the child with them. Perhaps it is because of the stalls in women's restrooms. Now in the event of say a single father with a daughter I would say use the family room as a first option. If there are no family rooms I think you could carry a small child in a way that would face them away from the urinals which usually but not always have dividers which also act as cover. Stop making it seem impossible to safely manage a child's bathroom needs in public.

Nevermind those were democrats in charge ...

This is not the same thing as the Civil Rights Era. Face it, you guys missed that.

The Democratic Party was wholly different then. T he 2 parties changed places. The lack of knowing history is astounding here.

It's not the lack of knowing history that's astounding.

It's the selective application and selective memory that's astounding.

I can't count the number of times I've seen men bring their daughters into the men's room and beeline to a stall. I was always amazed at the lack of immediate penis waggling the poor dears had to endure.

Not.

I also can't count the number of times a mother has sent her son in to the men's room alone and the stood at the door hollering at him every 3.8 seconds to make sure he was okay.

Why should any parent have to be separated from their child, just so the child can go to the bathroom.

Family Rooms need to be a priority.

Oh so majority rule is fine for this decision? I can never keep it straight when it is allowed and when it isn't.

Just stop the insanity.

Exactly. At this point, I'll do whatever it is they want us to do.

Just shut the f# up already. Gold plated commode? You got it. Personal massage while you deuce? No problem! How about a shoe shine with that, sir?

Anything to make it stop. I can't take it anymore.

Then start complaining to the people that are up in arms about it. Then only ones making this a big deal are the ones that want to make laws against it.

Maybe if people crapped instead of used stalls for drugs/smoking - - they'd still have doors.

Where do we point the blame?

This was done back in the end of October of last year. Though, it definitely points to checking out what congress is up to while we are focusing on minor extraneous issues. They do seem to be quite good at getting this stuff passed when we are asleep or distracted.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Obama administration is issuing a decree today on transgender bathrooms in federally funded schools that demands officials allow transgender students to use whatever facilities they choose.

The directive from Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights Catherine Lhamon, and Vanita Gupta, leader of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, cites federal Title IX in arguing that “nondiscrimination on the basis of sex requires schools to provide transgender students equal access to educational programs and activities even in circumstances in which other students, parents, or community members raise objections or concerns,” The Washington Post reports.

The blowback has been immediate, and fierce.

“I got news for President Barack Obama,” Texas’ Port Neches-Groves Superintendent Rodney Canvass told 12News. “He ain’t my president and he can’t tell me what to do. The letter is going straight into the paper shredder.”
Schools reject Obama transgender decree: ‘Straight into the paper shredder’

It's good to see there's still common sense in the USA. Is the US federal government going to sue every state, every school district? Of course not. School districts need to ignore this decree.

The children need to be protected, all of them. If there are a few special needs students of the type discussed above, let them use the staff restrooms. Do people want to make everyone suffer so a few students here and there can be more comfortable?

The following video sums it up pretty well for me.

www.youtube.com...

They dont need to sue every state. just cut off their federal funding FOR EVERYTHING.

Even in the past messing with a child before puberty was frowned on. but HOW does NAMBLA pertain to this thread? There have been ZERO assaults from Transgenders in bathrooms or showers. SO were making laws on what ifs now?

The way you control these rebellious schools is removing their funding and their accredidation. They had to do th esame when they integrated the schools to.

"It's for the Children"

Oh, wait - - - not this one.

“The first few years were like a utopia,” Kelly said. “Everyone on the staff [at Orono’s Asa Adams School] was very supportive. The school counselor spent a lot of time doing lots of research.”

That atmosphere changed abruptly in the fall of 2007 when the twins were in the fifth grade. That was the year Wyatt made the transition to to Nicole. She legally changed her name, let her hair grow and began wearing girl’s clothes to school.

She also began using the girls bathroom at Asa Adams with, what her parents said, was the support of school administrators and staff.

Shortly thereafter, a male student and his grandfather objected to Nicole’s use of the bathroom. “This kid came into the bathroom [in October 2007] and said, ‘My grandfather says we don’t have to have any faggots in our school”

Wayne recalled. “What do you do with that? It was quite a change.”

On Oct. 9, 2007, then-Superintendent Kelly Clenchy decided Nicole should use a staff bathroom rather than the girls bathroom, according to the lawsuit Wayne and Nicole have filed in Penobscot County Superior Court against Clenchy and the department. bangordailynews.com...

That is one of the stupidest rebuttals people use in these discussions.

Someone always dredges it up.

YOU think it's stupid because you don't connect the dots.

The biggest growing religion in Europe, their mai prophet is a child molester, that is a FACT.

I used to be on newsvine years ago, and even far left ppl (sane ones) was in utter shock when all of this first started, andthe speed of it.

So, yeah where there's smoke, there's fire.
