Well. I am either voting for Sanders or no one.

With this news hitting the streets it makes me believe the only candidate I can trust is Bernie Sanders.

I change my vote to only Sanders. Trump just lost all respect from me for becoming a sell out.

Right, because federal reserve sanders is real trustworthy. Don't pretend that you would have voted for trump and this "news" somehow changed your mind.

So trump taking money is worse than a mumble mouth con artist who bailed out the federal reserve?

Do socialists pay attention to any bills or just blindly vote for what's trendy?

This does seem to be a new social media tactic - claiming one is no longer voting for Trump because of some 'big' news.
What I see are his poll and vote totals rising.

Oh, and Sanders seems to be throwing his lot in with Clinton now... seems power is more important to him after all.

(Watches and laughs as Trump every day on the news since his presumptive nomination, has become everything we told his supporters her would become)

Seriously he hasn't even waited till he got into office to start being blatant( not like he wasn't before) about how establishment , bought off, shill he's going to be

Trump cares about his brand, and his bank account. Nothing else matters

Not the country, not you, not me, not any of the issues he's talked about or claimed to champion

The minute he's in danger of losing any revenue or any face, he will step on the closest person next to him to keep it from happening , whether it's an advisor or your grandma

I hate to say it , but I'm enjoying watching this trainwreck unfold at a vastly accelerated pace...

We deserve this

Of course he is going to have to work with people to get things done. That does not mean he has changed his views.

If anything the last days have shown that he is indeed not one of the insiders. Look at how many of them are throwing hissy fits and saying they will not support him? It's because they know that he will not tow the line and get in line with how they want things to be.

I heard a good analogy the other day:

It's like the powerful Republicans are fisherman in a boat, circling and hunting the shark swimming around the boat. They think they have the upper hand, but the shark (Trump) has other plans.

Yes, he made it in his new suit pinned with a badge for each of the delegates he won to win the nomination. Each of the badges has the face of a butt hurt anti-Trumper on it. I think the 1st badge showcased you

Well the topic is about campaign financing - which he said a while back he might raise money for himself and the party in a general election as opposed to self funding. So it's not really surprising news.

i love these "He's establishment now" posts. On one hand you're all correct, on the other you couldn't be further from the truth.

Now that trump is the nominee, he is the standard bearer of the republican party. He is the core. He is the establishment.

The establishment he has been running against is completely different. It is a set of ideas. The establishment gives lip service to the principles of the base on things like illegal immigration, budget, and obamacare. However, they either lack the resolve to stick to those principles or they simply don't believe in them in the first place (every opportunity to give dems everything he wants in a budget was taken, every opportunity to pull funding from obamacare was passed by, every effort to give amnesty was quickly jumped upon). Trump (we all hope, as supporters) means what he is telling the base about those things. Illegal immigration will be stopped, the budget will be balanced, and obamacare will be removed.

Trump rejects what the establishment has done, however, by winning he is the new establishment.

It is going to be like an episode of The Apprentice. He should hire on all of the past cast members to go out and fundraise for him, and then film it all. After he wins he can release "The Apprentice: Celebrity Presidential Edition."

No, he is a business person. As he has expressed over and over the US is killed on trade deals and also not having the manufacturing infrastructure that is needed. Manufacturing became call centers in the 90's. The tech boom. People were becoming overnight millionaires with the internet and IPO's no one worried about NAFTA. Then, when the call centers all shipped overseas and the manufacturing plants were gone there were no jobs. When the corporate tax rate is up to 40% there is no growth.

If I could have shirts made for 40 cents in China and 1.50 in the US, sorry, I am going to China. Lower my corporate tax rate to 15% and allow me to build infrastructure and produce jobs.

Back to campaign finance. Who cares. He spent the least and got nominated. He was attached to no one. Now that those who do not support him have been fleshed out he can now accept money from his rich ass friends.

If he wins the nomination part of his duty is to raise money for the Republican party. Not only for his benefit but for congressman and senators that will require backing as well. People think this is somehow breaking his word but it's a requirement as head of the Republican party. Not only does he need to raise money for his campaign estimated around 2 billion to defeat Hillary but will need to exceed that to keep the Republicans in the black during the election cycle. No one expected him to not seek donations in the general election. And people that want to claim otherwise is just being dishonest. Because no kne expects trump to pay 2 billion for the presidency he can't afford it.

Here is an idea of what he's going up against this is a list of donors to hillarys campaign. From just a couple of companies off her campaign finance report. Now you know why he needs at least two billion.
First set is donation from thr company the second is people that work for the company the third set is pacs

Are you sure about that? From Trump 25 minutes ago...

I turned down a meeting with Charles and David Koch. Much better for them to meet with the puppets of politics, they will do much better!
