I think we have all been expecting this dreaded moment. I hope that he passes quickly and in peace. It is heart wrenching watching someone die slowly. To his dear family, my heart goes out to you all. Please know that Nick will forever be in our hearts. We love you Nick!

I am a very emotional person and that was a tough read.
Nobody wants to see a family member go and go through that.

Thanks for sharing the letter zazzafrazz , been expecting bad news for a few days now I guess this is an indication that the end is drawing near , I salute his courage for a fight well fought , his dignity in a face of adversity and bravery in sharing his story with us all , we will miss you Woody.

To Nick's family, I hope that in some way, this thread is a measure of comfort to you all, knowing how treasured your Son is to so many, knowing what an inspiration he is and how much he is loved.

I find it so hard to post in this thread. It almost breaks me whenever I see it come to the top of the myATS queue.

At least there's that hope our messages of love and condolences have a good chance of getting to Woody and his family.
