I met an old lady last week who's in a wheelchair with a brain tumour that's rendered her speechless.

She had a moment of lucidity and said "We all come from galaxies" before saying how she remembers being out there. She said, "We can all go back there." Her voice was so full of wonder and magic that we all had goosebumps. I don't think I'll ever forget the moment.

I sent you a PM about it a few days ago because what she said echoed Alan Watts and I thought it would strike a chord with you. You're closer to the stars than most of us and I wish you well whatever happens

Crazy as it may sound to some people, I have a pre-birth memory. I have also had an out of body experience many years ago and so I know that we are far more than just our physical bodies. I believe there is life after death. I shared that with Woody in a private message and I think there is comfort in that.

See where my poem refrenced returning to the stars. Not just a coincidence the old lady knew that. alot of us believe that.

Shine
Life is something we all share,
Just like oxygen, in the air.
The way we live it, is up to us,
With a negative or with a plus.

Life is something, we should cherish,
We never know, when we'll perish.
Live each and every single day,
Smell the flowers, stop and play.

Life is something, we've been blessed,
Choice is yours, choose your quest.
Follow your passions, and you'll be fine,
With the right attitude, you will shine.

Woody you have a light that shines brighter than any light I have seen. I hope you know the lives that you have touched and the souls that you have lifted. We are here thinking of you.

You will always be a bright light shining across ATS!!!!!!!

Sharing a portion of a letter from Woodys mum.

Hi Zazz

I am writing to you now, as I may not have the courage soon.

As you have probably guessed he is very ill, and for the last few days has been in a state of semi consciousness . He is deteriorating , and appears to have developed pneumonia in the night.
He looks comfortable and pain free, I only hope he is. We are nursing him at home which is what Nick wanted, and we do too. (It's a privilege , but heart breaking)..........

.......he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour 14 years ago. Since then he has undergone 5 craniotomies (1 whilst awake) numerous courses of chemo, radiotherapy, and 2 years ago he suffered a brain haemorrhage which left him paralysed down his left side. With expert help and determination, Nick managed to walk again, short distances with a crutch.

He used to get annoyed when people said he was brave, but to me he is the bravest kindest, gentle man I know. Thank you so much for being his friend. I think the conversations with you, and others on the site kept him going.

If only I had half the courage of this woman and her son.
Zazz

A Mother's Love
By Helen Steiner Rice

A Mother's love is something
that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendored miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.

Thank you for raising such an amazing son. He has touched so many with his pure heart and his great strength. Know that your son will live and be honored forever in the hearts of ATS!!!
