This is just the World Cup of politics.

Everyone gets all ramped up every 4 years and roots for their team.

Afterwards most just sober up, go to work, and hates on the winner.

Blaming Trump for gambling addictions because he ran a casino is ridiculous.

People need to take personal responsibilities for their lives.

How did you come up with the 3 million figure? Some arbitrary number that you picked out of thin air based on "gambling addictions" that would have occurred at other casinos had those people not had Trump casinos to gamble at.

Your idea that Trump is bad for the world is good, your reasoning is a complete unjustifiable rant based in pure fantasy rather than fact.

Which candidate is above any of those assertions?

Cruse and kaischic and berney and Hillary all owe a crap load of money to the rich folks that paid to get them elected.

Trump owes nobody!

It has all been his own money.

Trump 2016, " make America great again "

That's the big lie. Trump has already said that he's "paid off many members of Congress for special favors".

Guess who's going to come calling if he's President?

Also, Trump has been bailed out several times, most recently - twice - by special Muslim interests out of Saudi Arabia.

I'd imagine that those special interests who bailed him out to the tune of HUNDREDS of millions of dollars will want to discuss payback for their loyalty.

He has shown that he is incapable of empathy. He has demonstrated his greed. And yet, here we are on the precipice of giving him carte blanch to inflict his narcissism on an entire planet. As if he has not already done enough damage.

What about the time Trump picked up a sick boy in his jet so that a child could get medical attention across the country?

What about the time Trump payed off someone’s mortgage because her husband committed suicide?

What about the time Trump let Jennifer Hudson stay at Trump tower rent free in order to grieve after her family was killed?

Now compare these to any other candidate. What a real piece of # he is, eh?

What about the Trump who gave less than $5 million to charity over 20 years, despite making over $10 billion in that same period?

It would be like you making $100,000, and only giving 50 cents of it away.

Most people give away more than that to the homeless guy outside McDonalds.

I've heard this story before. Oh yes, it was when the world was enraptured with a young junior senator from Illinois named Obama.

I also remember how divisive Ronald Regan's candidacy was. He was supposed to be far worse than Donald Trump. Ronald Regan was going to bring about WWIII and the end of mankind as we knew it. Fear mongerers should move to North Korea..or some country where their paranoia is justified.

but isn`t that basically what a country is? a huge corporation that makes money, spends money, makes deals with other countries, etc.who better to have in charge of a country than a successful businessman who knows how to make deals that are beneficial to the country.

That's very perceptive of you, Tardacus. Donald Trump is the only remaining Presidential candidate who has BUILT something and employed people, in several countries.

All Clinton, Sanders, Cruz, and Kasich have done is been voted or appointed into a manmade position. Whoop-tee-do. I feel more respect for the guy who sells peanuts & flowers on the expressway exit ramp, than I do for people who've been appointed to, or voted into some position.

Seriously, how can people be so incredibly naive? Trump is single handedly responsible for the destruction of so many lives.

Oh, it must be worse than the lives a certain person has destroyed in ruining the coal industry...... or worse than the millions who lost their job and/or have not been able to get a job in 8 years or the people who lost their health insurance due to Obamacare or cannot get full time employment because nobody wants to hire full time bcause of OCare... should I go on?

I agree but for different reasons as well.

Ignoring all the forced evictions, father's racism, aggressive business practices etc. my biggest reason is simply political.
I should mention that I'm not American so I may not have seen his campaign as comprehensively as many of you might have.
Trump is almost a caricature of 21st century politics/ electioneering. He says NOTHING. Nothing whatsover. Simply gives bland statements of what he doesn't want to do in his populist styl.

"Make America Great again!" - it means nothing. He uses his business talent and past (making spur of the moment decisions on intuition rather than actually thinking about the solution. Decisions which he has gladly destroyed or damaged people's business' and lives for his goal) to try to prove his qualifications for the post.

His P.R. has spun so far around and back again that he is trying to persuade people he grew up just like them, that he simply got a "small business loan of $1m...." from his KKK affiliated father. The fact that he has departed 4 of his businesses the day before they declared bankruptcy isn't mentioned with his business brilliance.

He makes absurd statements, refuses to give his sources/ reasoning and then says something outrageous again to divert everyone from questioning him on it again (Parts of London where police will not go- still hasn't come up with a postcode. Funny how he mentions cities which the vast majority of his audience will not have been to or known much of.

He has even persuaded some voters that he's "Anti- establishment" and against "the man". He uses lesser known legislation to forcibly evict and demolish people's homes and businesses to build casinos. Then he tries to quote Jesus in his campaign!

He is the modern day Machiavelli- he will say or do anything to achieve his goal (which I'm not completely sure what that is) even if it contradicts what he has just said. Citizen Kane could get a massive spike in popularity again.

He is the US Berlusconi. He uses his vast wealth and huge media presence to utterly saturate political debate with his appearance to cover for a complete lack of genuine politics.

He is no more than what becomes of a spoilt brat surrounded by sycophantic enablers. It shows that he goes straight on the counter attack whenever someone mentions his wealth- it's his elephant in the room. Everyone knows that if he didn't have such wealth he certainly wouldn't be up there; it's the thing which counters almost every point he attempts to make, every similarity he tries to draw upon and every "inspirational tale of entrepreneurship".

I agree, I don't get it at all.

If you, the OP voted for Obama even once, then you have absolutely NO business even starting a thread like this, or re-title it "I'm the biggest hypocrite and was so gullible that I voted for Obama the most dishonest president since ... Obama (He can't be beat).

IF you didn't, then congrats..Carry on

Just sayin'

By the time he gets through using that Death Star you're going to be sick of winning and will beg him to put the Death Star away so you won't win anymore and he will say.. NO!!! I will not put the Death Star away! We are just going to keep winning with this Death Star no matter how tired you are of it.

lol

I love me some Trump.

Trump has a small loyal group of supporters. You are not going to change their minds, he a brags about it. If nothing he could say or do is going to change their minds nobody else will. However, just as he has his supporters he has much much larger group of haters. Whom also are not going change their minds and suddenly like a guy. If it makes you feel any better you would have better chance of winning the White House as the GOP nominee. If Trump polled like Sanders in the national election polling then you have good reason to worry.

Trump has a SMALL group of loyal supporters? Are you kidding me?

WOW!!!!!

Trump has had the same 30 to 40% support of the GOP. A party that represents 39% of voters. Trump polls the worst ever with Independent and Democrat voters. So Trumps supporters make up a small group of Republicans. You can pretend the number do not exist but, you are simply setting yourself up for a big disappointment.
