It's so simple.

Hanging on nothing simply means nothing visible is holding it. In fact, it can move anywhere. It's just that NOTHING VISIBLE is holding it in place - in space.

Please tell me, where in the words "Hanging on nothing" implies "it is stable and unmoving"?

Really if you understand the words "hanging on nothing" then it would be plain to you.

The earth is not a fixed place in space... its constantly moving around our star. Which is constantly moving around the "black hole" in the center of our Galaxy... which is moving away from its point of origin...

You just quoted some dogma neighbour, in that is a belief or set of beliefs that is accepted by the members of a group without being questioned or doubted. Thus you quoted a religious belief, implying you follow a religion.

My Gods, my ancestors, and the spirits of nature are part of my religion. Note that bit in there beginning with p....part thus making up a portion of the religion. Just as your God Jehovah/Allah is part of the Abrahamic faiths. You can not have Christianity, Islam, or Judaism with out Allah/Jehovah.

You keep focusing on that even though it's not proof of anything but you haven't assessed the other dozen proofs that scripture is not scientifically accurate .Neither is hanging as you've been told by about 6 people in this thread. The earth is not hanging it's moving. There is a big difference between hanging and moving or hanging and swinging.

So what about all the other bible verses I presented which contradict modern science? Are you ever going to a dress them? Or are you just going to keep playing games?

Mathmatics is not necissarily a science. I've pointed out before that for something to be a science it needs to "study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment." One can play around with numbers and prove nothing about the "physical and natural world". This is why universities can offer you degrees in mathematics as either a BSc or a BA.
