That executive order has been around since 1947.

There has been no significant change to the way classified information is created and handled in a long long time.... some minor adjustments to deal with developing new technologies, but the core of the order has not changed very much.

You also have to remember that the National Security Agency has a big role in determining this outcome. The NSA is reponsible for the safeguarding of classified information and they dictate how it is to be protected, transmitted, stored, etc.

Hillary has violated just about every single rule NSA has for handling classified information.

Asked about the case today at a security conference in London, he said, "Somebody asked me if the Democratic National Convention is a hard stop or a key date for you? Are you doing this aimed at that? And I said, no.

You are dead wrong.... feel free to go through my 11 year post history and count up exactly how many times I have ever mentioned Hillary prior to the classified data scandal.

Hillary means no more to me than a pimple on my butt, how ever, any one who doesn't even know the very basics of handling classified information does not deserve to be the POTUS...plain and simple. I don't even post in political threads much unless it has to do with this scandal.

It's actually the other way around, if you would bother to look at this and substitute any politician doing the exact same thing.... you wouldn't even care.. but I would be all over them the same as Hillary.

EDIT: I have stated before and I will say this again.... of all the candidates running for president right now, I still feel that Hillary Clinton is probably the best choice. Unfortunately for her, I also believe that everyone is equal under the law, and she has violated numerous federal laws.

She made this bed, nobody forced her, nobody instructed her... and most unfortunately, nobody bothered to stop her.

Yes I expect Hillary Clinton to be recommended for indictment, along with several of her closest associates. But along with that, I think the FBI will give a very scathing review of the State Departments security policies and practices. Some of those people need to be fired as well. There have been so many breaches of just plain old security protocols that allowed this to even happen in the first place that there simply is no excuse.

You don't realize that the Executive Order is actually detrimental to Hillarys defense do you? You might want to read the part about information concerning foreign governments and being classified and then keep telling yourself that in 4 years as SoS, Hillary never once emailed a single thing about any foreign government or foreign official and that all of her emails were magically classified at some point after they left her possession.

I looked over the whole EO and didn't see anything about born classified. Can you say where in the order that is. Just the section where that appears will do. I could have missed it. Even though I read nearly every damn word ....twice just in case.

You know that born classified is a phrase, not a legal term. It simply means that some information is deemed classified at creation. Originally classified.
