Cool, I felt bad because I tried to think of some real advice for you but most of it involved alcohol and rampant promiscuity.

Some people will take advantage when you let them in and that's their weakness not yours, it takes more strength to be vulnerable than to put walls up but I do agree that being alone is infinitely better than being in a bad relationship.

Plus yano, you can't avoid pain no matter how much you try. Even the cats die eventually.

Wait a second, I distinctly recall that there is no pain in the Cobra Kai dojo.

No worries, just trying to keep Sensai Kreese from handing out an ass whooping.

Which is why those lads always look so aggravated all the time. Now a bit of pain on the other hand, that will make you grin like a maniac if you are amped on adrenaline!

So much wisdom, I hope viewers take it to heart. The substance of life needs to be taught to kids, not pop culture. I so wish there was such a thing as a "Real Life" class.

The thing of it is, that this is not special wisdom, granted only to a rare few. The classroom is the world we live in, and the lesson is all around us, all of the time. We only have to be willing to see what is right in front of us, in order to grasp these fundamentals.

There is, it is called 'Real Life'. You cannot teach other people experiences.

I am allergic to cats for a good reason...lol

Well we all technically die alone, jus sayin

But you don't have to be in a relationship to be happy or have friends or even sex for that matter it is all a choice and if you put out to the universe you will be alone you will...

You know the saying "It takes a village"? Considering the variety of perspectives in this thread, it's apparent that we all come to different conclusions. I believe there only to be one "right" understanding, which is what I saw in your previous post. That, was real and visceral. It's not (imho) something that everyone just happens to come upon with experience or time. Certain lessons can only be taught by those who've been gifted the awareness to understand. You, are one of those people. Believe it or not, you're a rare breed.

Just because something comes easily to you, doesn't mean it's "common knowledge" or "fundamental". We need people like you who've not only seen, but understood the experiences you've encountered, to be teachers and motivators for the younger generation. I'm afraid it's exactly the opposite, however, which is why history continues to repeat over and over like a broken record.

I don't see eye-to-eye with you on everything, but I can't deny your gift of understanding with very pivotal subjects. I tip my hat to you sir
