So why has he never visited a synagogue and done some big speech about anti-Semitic actions and speech and hatred there? Why no chiding of Americans against "Jewphobia"?

As soon as one of the Republican presidential candidates slams Bernie Sanders for being Jewish, or claims that a Jew isn't qualified to be president because his religion is in opposition with American values, or that Jews should not be allowed to immigrate and Jewish tourists should be tagged and monitored whilst within US borders, I'll agree with your sentiment. Until then, it's just sour grapes and empty resentment.

Why would it take this for Obama to want to make speeches about it?

Are you then saying the POTUS only cares if he can score political points?

I notice how you conveniently left out the jibe about Jews this time around. In other words, you missed the part about making a speech in a synagogue ...

Shows how much attention to detail you actually pay.

The point is that Jews still face more hatred in this country. But Obama has paid them NO attention that I can recall.

Well anti-Jew hate speech isn't plastered all over one side of the political media outlets now is it?

And when we are to accept Syrian refugees, they are nearly exclusively Muslim despite the genocide being perpetrated and all the other religious minorities in the Middle East (Christians, Yazidis, etc.). So that would be my dog there.

I'm pretty sure that when we accept the refugees we aren't asking what religion they are then kicking anyone out that isn't Muslim, so this complaint is rather useless as it has nothing to do with American policy in accepting the refugees. We can't help the demographics of the people who apply for refugee status.

Yeah, which is why the left is always gnashing at the teeth and bitching about Voter ID laws... Always crying about how it suppresses minorities and helps out Republicans.

I don't see how he can talk about democracy in a building that segregates half its members to hidey places.

So basically saying that you mistrust the vetting process for Muslim refugees because Muslims tend to spawn radicals who blow up random people is "hate speech"? Is this one of those PC things like saying you favor traditional marriage is "hate speech" against gays?

Did you comprehend it by chance? He asked why obama doesn't go and visit synagogues since Jews are treated way worse than mooooslums.

The problem is when Muslims demand their own parallel court system to operate exclusively by Shariah. Principles of Shariah are not the law of this country. We cannot have two legal systems, not and have everyone equal under the law.

Practice Shariah, but understand that the country's law supersedes. If it can't, then Islam and America are not compatible.

Hasidic Jews and Native American tribes do that right now. As do Amish communities. Those religious courts don't override American law. That's been explained right here on ATS before.

In fact, the biggest scandals surrounding those courts, specifically the Hasidic & Amish versions, is that their community members don't like cooperating with law enforcement specifically because American law overrules them. They don't want American law overruling their internal rulings. so all of these communities know full well that American law supercedes their religious courts.

Of course to know this, people would have to actually learn about these issues instead of simply repeating the fearmongering they hear. It's not our fault that people who don't understand that or anything else about actual Shariah law get scared so easily by things they don't know.

That probably has something to do with the disproportionate number of black people in jail and the fact that blacks tend to vote Democrat. Fix the systemic racism and that discrepancy will go away overnight. I sure hope you weren't trying to correlate the following causation: That Democrats are more likely to engage in felon level crimes.

I got that you are desperately trying to smear this mosque with no credible evidence. There's that.

PS: Countering thinkprogress with Fox News. Lol.

TP was spewing their normal garbage lies about Fox, all I did was prove them wrong. Fox was the one being smeared, should I have used a different source that wasn't mentioned?

I'd say its closer to being willfully ignorant and could be a sign of hate, but you could just as easily be misinformed. Then again why do you care one way or the other? Don't you like being non-pc?

No one said that, obviously. Yes Islamic terrorism is a real thing.

Murder is a real thing. It doesn't matter why someone is murdered because it's equally wrong either way. And apparently unlike you, I view all life as precious, not just the lives of the people I accept.

Edit to Add: then again, I learned that from Islam lol. So I guess it makes sense that you wouldn't agree with it.

For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.

I wanted to quote this just to show some hypocrisy. You spell Jews correctly, but use a slur for Muslims while talking about mistreating religious demographics. That's all I wanted to address in this post though.

All you proved is that Fox News is willing to make flimsy connections to "prove" their mistrust of anything Muslim, but I already knew that.

Why is that a problem? The court system actually encourages just such a thing in civil cases with a process known as arbitration. Not only does it get people out of the courtroom, but it allows people with similar belief systems to come to a mutually agreeable solution in accordance with their morals rather than one size fits all secular laws.

Participation in such things is completely voluntary but arbitration has had very good results and there's not just Muslim courts practicing it, Christian courts are the most popular form currently being practiced and there are several law firms focused on providing arbitrators and lawyers specialized in the process.

*sigh*

People have always been divided, and already were divided.

It's just easier to use Obama as an excuse to get away with more bigoted and bad behavior.

"Obama made me more divided!"

Um...you do have control over the things you say and actions you take, right?

The people complaining about the division aren't the problem. It's the ones causing it, and they're not going to complain, this is what they want.
