NONE of you have been to his website or read his last book that spells out his positions. He is pro first and second amendment. He wants to lower taxes. He wants to re-invigorate job growth in the US. One of the major reasons he is not being more specific about his stance on some issues is that he does not want to tip his hand. You will see the POTUS when he does his first debate with the DNC.

And he wont to do any of that because even if by some miricle he gets in the Congress will block and stonewall everything he trys to do. You will see the most bipartisan congress in history as they all band together to sink Trump.

To think otherwise is quite frankly Naive.

You might as well not bother voting and just give up on the idea of republican democracy and replace it with plutocracy. You obviously can't handle the responsibility of democracy and would find it easier just handing over control to the plutocrats. Who seem ready and willing to strip you of your rights and freedoms, you'll never get your democracy back if you fail to appreciate it and if you don't want it. Maybe stop trying to spread it round the world to people who kill for it.

Anyone ever give any thought to WHY the other world leaders seem to not like Trump?

It's because they know that America will have a President who will look out for OUR interests before their's, and the free ride will be over. Finally.

Good.

This is why some leaders respect him, not all of them hate the idea of a Trump Presidency.

If he doesn't get the nomination, I'll vote Democrat. Evidently the country will need to be even worse off to convince people enough is enough of the career politicians.

I agree - Trump will wonder what the eff he got himself into.

Yeah, OK.

If he gets elected, the Republicans are still in control of Congress. Do you REALLY think they'll go against him, when their own voters just spoke out by electing Trump?

Not likely.

The vocal Anti Trump minority needs to realize that they are outnumbered. More people support Trump then they will ever admit. I have life long Democrat friends who are going to Vote for him over Hillary OR Sanders.

Minority? I am not so sure...
fivethirtyeight.com...

. Trump is also the candidate unacceptable to the most Iowa Republicans, according to the latest poll from the Des Moines Register: 37 percent said they would be “not OK” with Trump winning the Republican nomination.

And democrats saying they will vote for him? Sure they would, he is pro choice and for universal healthcare.

Yes because they will not want to derail there gravy train. Either Trumps plays along with there corruption and things carry on as "normal" in DC with its normal BS and corruption or Trump gets blocked.

You underestimate the corruption and BS in your borken goverment.

If Trump is pro first amendment, his behavior to date is certainly inconsistent with same. Congress would try to block everything Trump would try to do and rightly so! The reason he is being so evasive about policy is because he has no substantive positions on the issues. Its a convenient excuse for him to say that he doesn't want to tip his hand in advance.

True. Maybe he'll just go back to his hotels and tell people he resigned because Congress wasn't being nice to him! But we need to dump Trump now before he ever gets near the White House.

I'll be voting for Trump given the chance...and maybe even if not given the chance. Of all my friends, I would say that at least 75% will be doing the same. Fixing what this socialist president has done to our once-great country requires a "just as extreme" change. Will he win? Don't know. Will 75% of the people I know vote for him? Yes...I'd bet on it.

Kill everybody that ain't white or Christian or Conservative. Meheheheheheh!

People these days and their unwarranted fear of Trump... It's beyond laughable.

Somebody needs to find a storm shelter for the OP so he can hide from his own fear when Trump gets elected.

The worst thing he'd do is become a right wing fascist dictator and trample our first amendment rights. He is already barred from Great Britain and not welcome in Israel either. What a buffoon, but if he is elected, the joke will be on us! And it won't be a joke either.

I'm not sure who you're listening to and getting your news, but whoever it is, is giving you some terribly inaccurate information.

Make America Great again = Hope and Change.

The "Hope and Change" that has been crammed down our throats as we choke on it was always the wrong direction. You don't need to hope and definitely don't need change if you are happy with where you are (or in this case...were). I don't want to change my children...they are great. I don't want to change my wife...she is perfect. The things I love don't need changing nor hope. They are perfect as they are even with their little flaws. Much the way our country was at one point...and if I have my way, will be again.

On that note...a funny little thing about humans. If a human died and went to heaven, which is supposed to be the most wonderful place...how long before they got bored of it and wanted to change it? I'd give it a year or so. We humans are never happy with "where we are". We always seek something better. But when things are great and we continue to execute change...we destroy great and then our descent begins...down the hill...further and further from what was once great.

You're too used to this new wave of presidents where they bend over and kowtow to anyone giving them a donation. I'm sorry that you're looking to have a wimp in the White House. The majority of Americans, however, are ready for someone strong that doesn't cower.

I think you missed the context of my post.

I was not defending Obama and his "hope and Change"

Just pointing out Trumps "make America Great again" is just a brainless slogan like Obama and he won’t accomplish any more than Obama did and the Status quo will continue as the US president can change very little without congress.

He is barred from Great Britain. They think he is a buffoon! And they don't like his racist and anti foreigner views. He was told that his scheduled trip to Israel was cancelled, and no new trip there has been rescheduled. He has already suggested that if he couldn't pull off a deal between Israel and the P.L.O. for a two states solution in the region, that it would be due to Israel wanting to block the deal. Trump wants to exonerate himself from any blame in advance if such a deal can't be achieved due to his enormous ego. Why would Israel want to meet with him?
His behavior to date clearly demonstrates his negative attitude toward the first amendment as he shouts down and insults anyone who disagrees with his views in any way.

Don't blame the messenger for the message. Lets dump the Trump!

Not sure you got my point then. I think Obama has done quite a lot without the aid of congress. If Trump or whomever from the right that wins can do as much...that might get us back to where we were before. Which to me would be a dramatic improvement.

But I got your point
