It's hard to make the case of being intelligent when this is about as deep as many people are able to go when choosing the next president. Let's call it the "shallow end" of intellectual prowess.

As a fan of Bernie, I honestly don't think Trump supporters are racists, ignorant, or extremists. I just feel they are right-leaning voters that don't agree with Socialism. Not really much else of a choice this time around when evaluating the candidates. I can understand the appeal to the Republican base for Trump because of the other Republican candidates. I'm actually in the same boat kind of. I normally don't vote in Presidential elections, but will vote for Bernie since I haven't seen anything like him yet.

The problem everyone has with the thread is that the poll was crap and to not acknowledge that just shows complete ignorance. The OP resorted to attacking other posters for pointing that out, so they did the knee-jerk reaction and attacked back.

Actually, I think most Trump supporters are extremists. No way around that.

I mean we have members who used to tell us "oh the presidents are pawns with no power", who are now saying they are going not only vote, but vote for trump as well! Forget the fact that just a few months ago these same members were telling us our votes don't count.

Low information voters...the new Democratic left wing response and it is pathetic. This is one poll that I read about that confirmed that the numbers seemed to be rising since the same type of polls taken in September that showed over 25% support black and white. It is about what the GOP has historically done. Not since Bob DOle LOST has anyone polled more that 2-6% in any ethnic group.

All of the polls that are posted show that 50% are against Trump or 67% are not for Trump but, you LIV's (low information voters) do not realize that if there are 50 against then 50 are for it. 100-67 is 33% for it. This IS historic and it represented in many polls other than one that has 10 people as a base.

None of you want to talk about that. You all just want to say it was only 4 people. Look at his rallies. They are not filled with inbred, hood wearing racists. There are all ethnicity's represented.

The left is trying all it can to publish stories in the MSM that paint Trump as a racist or as against woman,s rights but they do not want to allow any facts to be put forth. They want the 'low information voter' who bases their voting decisions on Facebook memes and HuffPost. Problem is that it is not working.

Trump had 25 million put aside to use for campaign commercials, etc and used $0. It is also his own money by the way. So he let Bush, the Clinton, and Rubio, and ALL of them spend over 400 million dollars to push for them and where are they at? Take away the OP and he is polling at twice anyone else is and he has not spent a dime.

Wait for the push after the first of the year.

This is a LIV statement. So, since I support a man who is a successful businessman (yes, his bankruptcies are resolved) who employs and deals with people of ALL religions, races, sexual orientation the subliminal message is what you state above?

There are Muslims who support his plan. Moderates that do not want Radical Islam in the US. No one talks about them?
There are Hispanics who support his plans and ideas also. But all you hear in the MSM are those who are against it.

this is politics. It's like you do a straw election at the local university, and then release the percentages. Nobody will really vote, so you can say your candidate won 70% of the vote. Instead of saying your guy got 7 of the 10 votes.

Yeah this is Clout Research they have long history of producing polls that have, shall we say, outside the norm results. All other poll have shown that Trumps supporters are mostly over 30, white, male, do not have a college education and are in a lower income bracket. This is who he designs his rhetoric for. Blaming minorities, making illogical or baseless claims, lack of knowledge in the way the Government works or the Constitution, desperate to blame others for their situation in life. Trumps feeds that by telling them it is everybody else fault. Just like Trump his supporters believe they are never responsible and that any problem must be because X groups caused it. Thank God these people are a minority in America.
