WalMart also has incredibly deep pockets and has been sued for slights, real and imagined, thousands of times. WalMart also operates huge superstores, open 24, where running video is about the only way to "police" shoplifters. And as these incidents are far off the beaten path (which raises questions on its on merit) the ONLY place to buy items such as box cutters, cell phones, bbs, etc IS WalMart. On line purchases require an address so kinda leads any suspicious alphabet agency to your door.

Given all the suspicious activity currently in rural MO, I would hope that some really well trained "new hires," working the night shift at the local WalMarts, are undercover types doing surveillance. I also hope that WM has turned over hours of surveillance footage for review.

WalMart's working with the authorities is an asset, and dissing their patrons is just wrong.

We go from Cell phones to Propane bottles, to Laptops, to Sniffing around sensitive areas at Bagnell Dam and Whiteman Air force base, to now, large Bomb making Regalia at another Walmart in Lees Summit Missouri. Mainly because you can't just scoop people up for buying perfectly legal items, regardless of their appearance. This is still America and people here have rights. Included in those is the right to be left completely alone when you haven't broken any laws. We're big on that one.

Anybody buying drain opener, starting fluid, coffee filters, and lithium batteries from any Missouri wal Mart will make the mib come asking. Sure it could just be the person has a clogged drain, a tractor that won't start, coffee habit, and a camera that needs batteries but common sense dictates that if those items are purchased the person's involved in cooking meth. Buying large amounts of ball bearings and bulk razor blades should set off warnings regardless of what they look like, just common sense that stuffs used as schrapnel and I for one don't want my family bombed.
