Fortunately, these purchases keep being made at WalMart--they run security video of every square inch of their stores--so iding should be made easier (or identifying if it's the same men). Also, they run security cameras in their parking lots--a vehicle description & plate can be had.

Is this an amazing story full of "what ifs."

What if there is a terror act planned?

What if these "middle eastern looking men" are building this "profiling" for a big lawsuit?

Local LEOs are damned if they do; damned if they don't. If they profile, in the view of the Obama Justice Department, they will be damned. If they over look "anything" they will be damned that they didn't follow up. And i think this plays into whatever the plan is as well.
I was thinking the same thing, and when they get us where they want us..Then they'll bomb the crap out of us, when everyone's confused what to do

I once went into a Walmart and bought around 60,000 BBs.

I had a safe to move across a concrete floor.

Wedged the safe off the floor on one side with steel wedges and spread the BBs under the safe.
then used a come along to roll to safe on the BBs.
Good way to move a 2 ton walk-in safe.

And yes the Walmart employee did give me a strange look.

This also happened more than 2 weeks ago.

Do you live in Missouri? If not? don't concern yourself..you're safe

Damn, I was at a gun show and saw a Black man buy a pistol and some .38 shells. Yikes.... I wonder if he was a Muslim.

See where this type of paranoia leads?

Did you see any Middle Eastern men Buying any AK47s and 10,000 rounds of ammo at the Gun Show Too???

No you didn't and you wont

Yeah and you think a ME man looking to buy bomb making supplies is going to go to Walmart with cameras everywhere in the store and in the parking lot. Does that make sense to you?

So you're senses are so keen then that you could tell the difference between a Lebanese Christian (Christians were the majority in Lebanon prior to the 80's Civil War) and a Syrian Muslim? They're both Levantine, same complexion, same language, same cultural roots. This whole "dangerous middle eastern " thing reeks of 1940's anti Japanese sentiment that led to our own American internment camps.

Why not just buy nails and screws? They come in 5lb containers.

They already had them, but there was still a lot of drywall to hang before the hunting trip.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —A recent purchase of a large amount of sling shot ammo, similar to BB pellets, and a large amount of replacement box cutter blades at a Lee's Summit, Mo. Walmart, has triggered the attention of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and federal authorities.

Geezus.

Talk about making a mountain out of a sinkhole.

My fellow Americans ?

Please take a step back and breathe.

Take another step back and breathe.

Treading dangerously close to the 'boy who cried wolf syndrome'.

No one goes into Walmart in the middle of the night and buys large quantities of Razorblades and wrist rocket BBs...Especially Foreigners....JUST DENY IGNORANCE...SERIOUSLY

Apparently someone did. Then others flip out going that must be a 'terrorist' !

Even though in the last 40 years we don't see most of them coming.

Maybe them Walmart workers need to start working for the DHS, and the FBI.

Be careful! You might just give someone the idea that WalMart workers should be given TSA-like powers. That's all we need, more minimum wage employees with a piece of tin on their chest thinking they have power over everyone.

Well how many times have terrorists text about supporting ISIS on Facebook and Twitter? That's not too smart is it? Not all terrorists and criminals have a sense of logic. Considering suicide bombers actually believe they'll receive 72 virgins in heaven, not to mention believing a loving God would condone killing or beheading his own creations, shows just how ignorant and stupid these people really are! Just tonight the police in Harrisburg Pennsylvania arrested a Middle Eastern man who was using Twitter to pledge his support for ISIS! So yeah, I think walking into Walmart or any other department store to buy bomb making material isn't far fetched.

WASHINGTON —A Pennsylvania 19-year-old pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group, used Twitter to spread its propaganda and had a backpack with ammunition that suggests he might have been plotting an attack, federal authorities said Thursday.

Unfortunately these are the people who are committing these acts of terrorism.

You really know very little about terrorism in America do you? The group that commits the most terrorist acts are Hispanic and Middle Eastern types actually commit the least. Forget the propaganda you've been fed and look at reality.

Sure, what the Hell does a Middle Eastern Man know about Walmart? Do they have Walmarts in Syria? Seriously? If they were going to blow themselves up anyway, why would they care, other than being recognized, so they can get praise from their Ignorant religion and fanatical Brethren?

What is really sad are 2 things:

1) We are doomed to repeat history. In the past, as a prior president once stated: The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

The country has become terrified of its own shadow, and distrustful of those who are citizens.

2) The real problem these days are labels. The saddest commentary is that people are not viewing their fellow man as they would themselves, as all being of the same species, human. They label them and then view them as something less or not at all.

Let's not confuse specific ISIS terrorism from other types of terrorism. You're purposely ignoring the fact the majority of ISIS and radical Islam related terrorism are committed by middle eastern types. The facts are clearly documented.

3,110 killed by Muslims in America in 82 terror attacks (and Islam-related honor killings) Since 9/11 there have been 89 killed by Muslims in America in 47 attacks

The number of attacks committed by radical Islamic's in America ...LINK

I don't know where you live, but here.. nobody at Wal-Mart is armed and the Vegas style security apparatus doesn't exist after 11 PM as they have very limited or no security working overnights. Either way, they don't have the power to fondle me under my clothes like TSA seems to think they have.

So we should live by fear rather than face life with courage? That we no longer have the decency and common courtesy to say that the person is a fellow human being and that they deserve the same respect as others of the same species?

The problem has been and will always be labels. Oh there will be protests, and those protesting will have valid complaints, but the only thing that gets done is a bandaid to sooth hurt feelings, neither side wanting to admit that the real issue is that one group, tends to treat the other group as less than what they are.

And if you think that is such a bad thing, consider this: If fear causes that kind of behavior, where the group is being demonized, and shunned, where do you think that they are going to turn to for acceptance?
