For a more accurate reflection of an election.

People have to vote more than once.

And dead people have to vote.

So I am voting again.

None of the Above.

And I need to represent institutionalised corruption.

300 votes to Hillary.

All in all, a fairly close poll, and one I think is actually fairly representative. Sanders beats Trump, but doesn't crush him like he does Clinton.

This country runs best when it's a balanced mix of socialist and capitalist policies.
The capitalist side of the scale has tilted too far in the last 15+ years and it's time we bring everything back into balance so that the free market can work for everyone.

Mr. Plow...I agree with you. There always needs to be a voice from the other side. There always needs to be those who support the minority (no matter who it is this time). I would agree with you to the point that I honestly believe that, that is part of my hate toward Obama and friends. It isn't balanced...and that makes in one sided, not united.

Attention:

THIS POLL was the culmination of THREE concurrently-run polls.
My goal was to see which of the two front runners from each political party would be the choice of the majority of ATS member respondents.
THIS poll, then placed the two winners head-to-head in a third poll.

Here are the first TWO polls...along with their results"

Poll #1: Clinton or Sanders?
www.abovetopsecret.com...

TALLY as of THIS post:
SANDERS: 50
CLINTON: 3

Poll #2: Trump or Clinton?

www.abovetopsecret.com...

TALLY as of THIS Post:
TRUMP: 31
CRUZ: 11

As you can see from the results, Hillary Clinton and Ted Cruz fell far behind their closest competitors in each party.
That mandated that we put Bernie Sanders against Donald Trump in this final poll.

Poll #3: ATS' Choice Poll: SANDERS or TRUMP?
(THIS Poll)

Here is the FINAL TALLY as of this post:
SANDERS: 58
TRUMP: 37

Some observations from this pollster:

Far more voters participated in THIS third poll (SANDERS/TRUMP), than in either of the other two (CLINTON/SANDERS came in second place, regarding the number of respondents).

Sanders supporters are measurably more well-organized, enthusiastic and outspoken about their candidate, than Trump supporters.

Among ATS members who participated, there are far more Sanders supporters, than Clinton supporters...or, at least, there are more ATS Sanders supporters who are willing to admit their support, than there are Clinton supporters willing to do so.

The same argument could be (and has been) made regarding the Trump vs. Cruz poll.

Hillary Clinton is almost universally disliked by Sanders, Trump and Cruz supporters here on ATS (at least, among those who participated).

Rand Paul was the most 'written in' candidate by non-Trump and Cruz supporters.

This begs question as to whether or not ATS members actually represent the larger electorate.
In the case of Trump/Cruz, there is a closer match with national results.
In the Case of Sanders/Clinton, the results are almost opposite the national poll results.

An interesting discussion here might be had, discussing WHY Bernie Sanders is so much more popular here on ATS by likely Democrat voters...and WHY these same ATS members' are so out-of-sync with national polls.

Bernie Sanders should be far above Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic nomination...and IF our Sanders supporters here on ATS turn out to be representative of the national population, Sanders should not only be WAY ahead of Hillary Clinton at this point, but in the overall Presidential election, Bernie Sanders should beat Donald Trump by a huge margin.

To the best of my ability, I have attempted to make these Polls as fair and impartial as possible.
To the best of my knowledge, everyone who voted, voted honestly and only voted ONE time.

Thanks again for participating in this poll...it's been fun.
Keep the poll and debate going...if you like...and please FLAG the thread to keep it active.

The reason the this poll and national ones are so out of sync is because the national ones are cooked. Drylabbed. Fake. Phony. Even if you don't think it's being done intentionally, the methodology used doesn't lead to a poll representative of the population.

I think the difference between us Bernie supporters and the Trump supporters is that we genuinely feel Bernie is an amazing candidate and actively want him to win, while many Trump supporters likely just see him as "the least terrible" option.

It's not just ATS. Did you see the post I put up in the breaking political news section about the DFA poll? The results are INSANE, Sanders had just under nine times the number of votes as Clinton.
(87.9% vs. 10.3% respectively)

Let's go with the lowest estimate, 50 million. let's not even adjust it for inflation.
Let's go with a reasonable income, $50,000 per year. Probably a lot higher than most Americans are making these days, to be honest. I think the Median wage is something like $26,000?

To obtain the amount of wealth Trump had by virtue of being his father's son, you would have to work continuously for 1000 years. One. F**KING. THOUSAND.
You think that man could possible understand the plight of the people. Even if he TRIED to he could not understand.

Trump.

You think you need someone who understands the plight of the people ??

How about let us try with someone who understands that USA is a corporate entity, that is at all times being governed by Multi-Billionaires and the decisions they make.

I've known for some time that the Sanders supporters were huge here on ATS...but I could never understand why people who vote Democrat here, disliked Clinton as much as those who would vote for a Republican.

All we hear in the media is how unbeatable Hillary is...and how Sanders doesn't stand a chance against her (we even hear this in the Liberal media).
