But now everybody is getting hit with criticism. LA for overreacting, and NYC for underreacting.
Of course - but San Bernardino is like 30 miles from LA? And they understand there were others involved in that attack?
They definitely did the right thing by clearing the schools.

Anyone check to see if the DHS/FBI planes are over LA? That will tell you if it is credible.

The new America, an open air prison, "on lockdown". Threat or no threat, they are running the same program they do in prisons. Someone starts a fight or pulls a blade and the sirens sound, the guards come running, everyone, "Get down on the ground and don't move, the whole prison is on Lockdown!" They search the whole place, harass everyone until the 'all clear'. Anyone see the parallel?
Interesting enough to note bomb threats and emergency calls occur all the time that are hoaxes, and oddly enough, the schools are the places being shutdown. The children need the indoctrination the most, they are gullible, unlike adults.
As far as the people in charge, they are playing a child's game. Like little kids arguing who runs the sandbox, or disrupting the game by taking the ball and going home.
This country is being run by adult children. Its our ball and you can't play.
Closing the schools is the prudent thing to do. I would rather look foolish in the aftermath, than have a bunch of dead and maimed kids, regardless who the perps are, lone wolf or thug gang.

A New York superintendent received the threat early Tuesday morning, Bratton said. De Blasio said the threat was specific, and Bratton said it appears to have come from overseas. The NYPD began an immediate investigation with the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the FBI.
Bratton said one indication that the email is a hoax is that Allah was not spelled with a capital “A.”
“The language in the email would lead us to believe that this is not a jihadist initiative,” he said. ” … That would be incredible to think that any jihadist would not spell Allah with a capital ‘A.'”

With so much information on this, I'm glad to see that some of you have already determined this is a "non-threat" and isn't credible.
Must be nice to have the world figured out and placed in little tiny boxes inside your heads'.

Because Allah was not spelled with a capital they dismissed it???
As far as getting the media to stop crying wolf all the time, you got me.
They whip the terror and anti muslim rhetoric into an inferno, shame on them.
SB is the only "Muslim" shooting this year, I think.
When I was younger I had a police scanner
Best not to get too many people too excited, unless they are promoting an agenda, you think?
