It was just LA.

It's looking more like a hoax though as NYC is saying they got the SAME threat as LA.

New York City officials say they received the same threat that led to the closure of the Los Angeles school system but quickly concluded that it was a hoax.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said Tuesday morning that he was "absolutely convinced" there was no danger to schoolchildren in New York.

New York Police Commissioner William Bratton said he thought Los Angeles officials overreacted by deciding to close the nation's second-largest school system.

He said a school superintendent received the threatening email Tuesday morning.

Bratton said the person who wrote the note claimed to be a jihadist but made errors that made it clear the person was a prankster.

actually this is a two pronged attack. #1 Nothing and I mean nothing scares or angers people to blind rage when their children are threatened. #2 the children will remember this and equate who ever the media tells them is responsible with the enemy and will grow up doing so until they are fighting age.

During previous world wars, they had things called Air Raid sirens. I bet all the people ran around saying "Oh they're trying to control us!! Lets stand firm against their obvious deception, we know it's a false flag to corral us into some bunker!" and everyone died..

We can expect a lot more of this, and it will be to the point that nobody will shut down their school over the threat (like DeBlouse-o) and after we've grown numb so to speak, over the threats, that's when a school will be blown up.

CNN reporting the threat warning came from Germany. It was an email.

This was over an EMAIL?

I really hope they are not relying on school staff to determine if the schools are safe, but some organization with more experience with counter terror.

Very interesting how the Mayor of New York, in response to a threat there deemed as a hoax, just said the the LA school district acted on their own without any outside guidance and prematurely. Okay. Famous last words there Mr. De Blasio.
