You have an entire section of society that exposes themselves to extreme rhetoric and propaganda. Fear, hatred and grand conspiracy is beat in to their heads daily. Add to that the insane gun culture mentality and you have a recipe for disaster.

All that is needed to make a cogent rebuttal to your post is a cut & paste of your own words with the minor alteration of "insane gun culture mentality" to "insane anti-gun culture mentality" and This link...

ACLU Board Member Resigns After Urging People To Kill Supporters Of Trump

Twice in one week!

“The thing is, we have to really reach out to those who might consider voting for Trump and say, ‘This is Goebbels. This is the final solution. If you are voting for him I will have to shoot you before Election Day.’ They’re not going to listen to reason, so when justice is gone, there’s always force…”

Fern Delise, 54, of Fountain was arrested after police say she called Planned Parenthood saying, “It’s tempting to walk into a republican party meeting with my dead husband’s gun and just start shooting people.”

During the "Dubya Years" I had more Left-Leaners go B@tsh*t, Spraying Spit, Up In Your Face Crazy on me because they assumed I'd voted for and supported him than I have from the Right and I have frequently said things in public that could be taken as tacit support of the present resident of the WH.

This would almost be laughable if it weren't for the fact that this thread and what is implied by the vid in the OP is a pretty accurate thumbnail of the current feeling that hangs in the air.

For reasons that primarily have to do with how the voting process is handled in Indiana, I am a registered Republican but am at heart a social/conservative who believes in the privacy of the voting booth.

I am very, very uncomfortable after what I saw in 2012 when multiple sources used the "take back our country" meme to sarcastically exclaim, "It's not YOUR country any more!"

Perhaps a simple exercise will help make my point. When you have the time and opportunity, look straight into a mirror and lightly grasp the ear which you consider to be the one you associate with your political outlook. Then look at the person looking back at you and consider which ear they've chosen...

My favorite part was, "That's enough B*llsh*t from me today..."

I will be waiting for (but not really expecting) the vid where you point out the tactics of the "desperate" Democrats trying to use some topic to deflect attention away from the extensive résumé of questionable legal and ethical issues of their "anointed" front-runner (the very thing that prompted me to lodge a protest vote against Dubya).

Joe, i like you. I like the show.

That said, i want to say this: within 5 years, the entire planet is going to be engulfed in world war 3. It's going to be the terrorists vs. the terrorists. Everything everyone does is terrorism now. I'm not defending this guy, but you said there were over 3,000 cases of right wing terrorism in the US since 9/11. Give me a break, dude.

We absolutely need a moratorium on this word, its gotten out of control and morons are using it for every little thing. The worst part? The rest of the morons actually believe that every time someone is called a terrorist, its #ing true.

We might as well turn the entire * united states into guantanamo bay. Orange jump suits and hoods for everyone, you bunch of * terrorists.

I have to wonder, where most liberals are concerned with the rhetoric of the right.. are they also concerned with their own speech against conservatives? If you threaten Trump supporters, saying they should die, and support that... then how is that any better than what some conservatives say against.. say... Muslims?

This growing trend in our country is setting us on a dangerous path my friends. We are being divided .. in the most systematic way ever. In social media I'm seeing the word "terrorist" thrown around so casually... in accusations against liberals or conservatives. Are we as a nation, losing our sanity? Are we becoming paranoid... of one another, and of outsiders?

What a time we are living in. I really have to step back and examine everything calmly, and not put my feet in either side of the pool..

You either believe a 1400 year old sociopath pedophile is god's infallible prophet and his book of fairy tales is the perfect word of Allah and the only law there is or you don't.

Are you referring to Moses? Because that applies to him as well.

Sure, but you're ignoring the major difference, one of the religions has yet to go through a reformation. So you either don't understand that and what it means, or choosing to ignore it.

Yes and yes. To the point where all morals will caese soon. Hold on to your hat! The inevitable needs to happen, no point in fighting it anymore. Time to sit back and watch it all unfold, lest you be labeled a 'terrorist'. NLBS, to a whole new level of BS!

NLBS is aptly named. If you cant tell the differe,ce between one crazy person and a war then you certainly arent fit to be dictating policy to anyone. You got,the right to your opinions, it just happens to be a particularly naive, race baiting, new world order agenda pushing, social (in)justice load of horse manure. Your ideas are oppressive. The religion you champion is oppressive. We dont need you acting as thought police. We dont need any more if the lies used to push immigration agendas intended to subvert our country. You can tell yourself until you are blue in the face how marally superior you are, but you arent.

Go ahead and volunteer to bring a Syrian refugee man whom you dont know into your home and sign a paper that makes you responsible for his actions. Until you do so, you are just a hypocrite who wants to force a faux moral authority on others but not one of you would do that yourself. Sanctimonious, naive hypocrites.

Let's just ignore the fact that countries which welcome refugees en masse become rape capitals of the world overnight. These videos are getting worse and worse, the fact that they get front page every single time is a sham and shows a clear agenda from this website.

Let in all the refugees you want, let the terror cell blocks roam freely around this country, more than they are now. The only people that will be left to protect you are those "right wing psychotics" with their own firearms.

It seems as though all our problems can be found to come largely from Domestic Statism and all the 'terror' seems to be a byproduct. Notice how all this 'security' hasn't seemed to prevent all these 'domestic terrorists' either.

How are you connecting the refugee issue with what was covered in this video?

Lots of people are making big leaps of flawed logic here.

It's one hell of a jerking-knee that, because we shinned a light not often shined or right-wing terrorism, suddenly somehow we're not fully informed on Radical Islam.

You, nor the govt has the authority granted to them to distinguish why or what types of firearms anyone has or uses.

The sole reason for the second amendment had nothing to do with protecting oneself from criminals or hunting for food. It was to prevent govt from taking away the means for the people to secure their rights to offering CONSENT to be governed. The people can revoke said consent at any time and the second amendment was coined in order to preserve the means to revoke said consent. It was coined for NO OTHER REASON...

Wrong, shining the spotlight on right wing terrorism was meant to diffuse the rancor against Islam for the current onslaught of terrorism they are wreaking around the world, and most recently in or near my home town.

To attempt to obfuscate the danger of radical Islam in this way is abhorrent and to have the dual purpose of attempting to demonize Christianity and the conservative right at the same time makes it even more abhorrent.

So how is pointing out that the "terrorist" action on the right wing side that is being discussed here was a lone nut versus Islamic terrorism which is organized and state sanctioned and supported, FLAWED logic???

Please explain that to me?

Even though there have been several varieties of Christian reformation, there are still many fundamentalist versions (and not so fundamentalist) that still hold true the Old Testament.

And yes, there's lots of debate about the need for some kind of reformation in Islam; but as it did with Christianity, that essentially takes hundreds of years to break into mainstream doctrine. Less than two centuries ago, we were murdering non-believers in this country.

Other than an amount smaller than a handful, which terrorist attacks within the US attributed to Radicalized Islam were not similar lone nuts?

And we did indeed attack the data collection logic of terrorism statistics in the video, calling mass killings terrorism ONLY when an outside organization claims responsibility.

Answer this then.

Why are you talking ?

Then you will get the answer your seeking on guns.

Because I want to know you better.

I want to understand your thinking, so that perhaps we can come to some kind of common ground.

Anything else?

I have been reading this thread and honestly your tone and comments indicate otherwise. Are you honestly wanting to reach a common ground? if so, you are going about it the wrong way.
