OH I don't know they voted in Clinton affairs and all

The thing about Clinton and Kennedy was that they didn't pull it out of their pants and shake it in front of the television cameras.

Which is starting to seem very close to what we are talking about with Trump.

I think the problem with Trump is there isn't much to shake. That's why he resorts to calling women pigs, slobs, ugly, and relies on menstruation to debate them. He's probably been laughed at too many times by women in the bedroom.

His ego is very fragile.

This is something I think Trump's supporters don't even recognize. Only a very insecure person has to boast his way though life. According to him, he's the best at everything, every demographic loves him, he's VERY rich, always right, doesn't make mistakes or need forgiveness, lies about his accomplishments and takes not ONE iota of responsibility for his actions (unless they're successful actions, of course - and then it's ALL thanks to him).

He's a very insecure and weak man... He looks for perceived weaknesses in others in order to exploit and discredit them. About as low as one can go, in my book.

Trump is a subhuman, along with his fanboys..money can't buy class or respect.

The difference is so insignificant, it's ridiculous to defend one over the other.

I think it's comes down to intent. You don't like Obama - I do. Seems likely I would support him, but what he did was an off the cuff gaffe

Obama apologizes for remark

After comparing his bowling to the Special Olympics on "The Tonight Show" Thursday, President Obama called Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver to apologize before the program even aired.

“He expressed his disappointment and he apologized, in a way that was very moving,” Shriver said on ABC's “Good Morning America.” “It’s important to see that words hurt, and words do matter. And these words that in some respect can be seen as humiliating or a put-down of people with special needs do cause pain, and they do result in stereotypes."

It seems expedient and self serving. Maybe it is - this is politics after all

But Trump won't play the niceness game - will not apologize for anything. People love him for it. He sucks at the dozens - though he does give it the old rich white guy try. He's ahead regardless

Is this admirable? I know you've said no - but you're defending Trump at the expense of Obama

Trump openly mocked somebody that challenged his position - and the anti-PC crowd goes wild

When I was a kid - we used to say something was retarded when we meant stupid or lame. We said it fairly regularly - until we grew up and knew better. But that word is still right there in our vocabulary ready to be used. I used it not too long ago in a conversation with a friend of mine who has a son that is severely autistic

There is no coming back from that really - but it still requires an apology

Personally I don't see this making fun of a disability. I see his gesturing as if the reporter is a whiny child waving it's arms in a tantrum. But that's just my opinion.

I find it very strange the mental gymnastics Trump supporters will go to defend this fool.

Trump isn't a serious candidate. He knows full well he has alienated so many groups of people that he has no chance whatso ever to get the nomination....
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Then please tell us your opinion of Trump so we can form an Opinion about YOU! We're entitled afterall!
Nah! That's none of your business. I was just saying you have your opinions, I have mine. I do not need to belittle people with snarky comments like you make to try to change ones opinion.

The new national pass time is scouring anything published and looking for the political incorrectness that can be put in the limelight to opine en mass. That said, I thought I was watching a SNL skit.

Trump has been getting a free pass on a lot of things, especially from the media.

I mean, look at the video clip below again and try to visualize Hillary doing the same thing with this demeanor.

There would be widespread discussions about her mental health.

Seriously, does anybody really care that JFK had an affair with Marilyn Monroe? I can't quite bring myself to care. Furthermore it had no relevancy on his decision making in the office he was hired to do.

Ditto Clinton.

This is entirely differently, as those men intended for those things to be a part of their private lives.
Trump seems to like putting his dirty laundry on T.V. to share with the world. Plus, his laundry is much, much dirtier.

Snarky Comments? WTF, I'm just being UN-politically correct and truthful!

btw....you've lurked here enough to know that the political forums tend to get a little rank at times. Don't expect it to change into unicorns and pussycats just because you are here. Once a mod told me to grow a thicker skin....that was sage advise. Just my opinion....

Here's an interesting article from Vanity Fair quoting mental health professionals speculating that Trump has some form of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. That's what I've been thinking but I'm no expert.

www.vanityfair.com...

For mental-health professionals, Donald Trump is at once easily diagnosed but slightly confounding. “Remarkably narcissistic,” said developmental psychologist Howard Gardner, a professor at Harvard Graduate School of Education. “Textbook narcissistic personality disorder,” echoed clinical psychologist Ben Michaelis. “He’s so classic that I’m archiving video clips of him to use in workshops because there’s no better example of his characteristics,” said clinical psychologist George Simon, who conducts lectures and seminars on manipulative behavior.

Does anyone really believe that Trump knows that reporter as a person and what his disability is? Trump said he was mocking him as "groveling" not as a disabled person. The man was groveling about his story because he printed it and never posted a retraction. It's that same old double-speak mind bending twisted and spun false news reporting the MSM and cable news do all the time.

My suggestion to those who buy into everything the news media reports, get a copy of George Orwell's book 1984 and have a good day.

As for me, I saw the report and the video and Trump was not insulting someone's disability. If you actually listen he was mocking the reporter for denying his own printed story; the man saying he didn't know what he saying. It's the same as when the MSM cable news tried to say that Trump said Carson was a child molester when he actually said that pathological disease is the same no matter what kind it is and must be treated with medicine, and he related a few types we often hear about.

If we can't do anything else but buy the spin that the news media puts out about people, were definitely done and they, and the elitists have won.

Again, "George Orwell - 1984" Good read.

Trump is a magnification of the entire western civilization, and what it was founded on.

The reason a man like Trump has gotten this far in life is that many people resonate with his MO.

Narcissism, Ego, self-centeredness, and lack of empathy are the paradigms of modern society. Don't believe me just watch Facebook, or other social networks for a few months.

People love blaming others and living vicariously through false idols, movie stars, and sports figures.

If you read the article in the OP you'll learn that Trump does indeed know this reporter and that they have a long history together. Trump prides himself on his impeccable memory yet lies and says he doesn't know the man or doesn't remember him. How convenient for Trump! Clearly they know each other and obviously that man's disability is hard to forget. Trump even says the reporter is a nice guy before mocking him at the rally.

Trump is a liar, he's disgusting, but more importantly he's a bully who can't ever own his mistakes. He'll only point the finger at someone else while playing the victim.

Trump is the poster boy for Elitist so why are you defending him?

Yup! I read the article and all it says is that the reporter covered news on Trump not that trump knew the man personally. Same old same old. If there's no reality, just make it up, that's what the news media does.

Uh... Yeah. I believe a reporter over someone who has the character of Donald Trump.

"Donald and I were on a first-name basis for years," Mr. Kovaleski said. "I've interviewed him in his office. I've talked to him at press conferences. All in all, I would say around a dozen times, I've interacted with him as a reporter while I was at The Daily News."

Kovaleski also tweeted, "I dispute Trump's claim in today's NYT."

I am a Trump fan. I like what he is doing to the PC Crowd.

This just seemed kind of mean.

I wish Donald would refrain from making fun of the Handicapped.

It makes him impossible to defend.

Then, there will be actual people to back up the reporter's claim of a personal relationship with Trump, maybe some video, oh wait, no... they don't have that, only a disgruntled reporter's word for it, ok, I understand, not.

In an interview on Thursday, Mr. Kovaleski said that he met with Mr. Trump repeatedly when he was a reporter for The Daily News covering the developer’s business career in the late 1980s, before joining The Post. “Donald and I were on a first-name basis for years,” Mr. Kovaleski said. “I’ve interviewed him in his office,” he added. “I’ve talked to him at press conferences. All in all, I would say around a dozen times, I’ve interacted with him as a reporter while I was at The Daily News.”

Oh, so Trump isn't lying, the reporter is? I see, I see. No point for you to continue this conversation if you keep grasping at straws.
